Hi,

The links to all of the forms and instructions are here:

Whether or not you need to hire someone to assist you depends on too many factors to be able to say whether it is worth it or not. It would depend on your ability to prepare the application, assemble the proof of relationship and all other documents required, AND whether or not there are any circumstances about your relationship that would cause a Visa Officer to question whether it is genuine or not. You and your wife should read through the application forms and guides first. Then read through OP Manual 2 (especially Section 5) to determine if you feel comfortable preparing your application yourselves.

Make an INFORMED decision. Remember that EVERY application is assessed on its individual merits. Make the decision for YOU, not based on what other people tell you when they have NO IDEA what your situation is.

Best of luck.
thanks so much for ur replay and ur advices .. i already hav the website and the guide instructions, but i'm just confused cos it's the beggining ???

i'm not worrying or afraid from anything, i met my wife abt almost two years now and i do have all the proofs for those two years, chats conversations, phone bills, facebook msgs, papers of rental cars for her both visits, papers from gas stations showing dates, certificates of passing from highway showing date too, papers of some restaurants with dates too, her both tickets for her trips, pics together and with family and pics of our travels to different cities and pics of visiting family, and list for all the sms's that we send to each other it shows the sms's, and other kinds of proofs ...

also my wife hav a good work with good salary, her own house etc ..

the only thing is bothering me and im do think of it so much is abt the embassy and wht they will decide abt the difference age, cos she is bigger than me by 10 years and also we didn't do a wedding ceremony.

so those two things that im very worrying of from the embassy.

like i said we have all the proofs they they do need and more, but ...
so thats why i asked for if its good to use an immigration lawyer for helping us and defending abt us especially for the subject of the age.

thanks everyone for any kind of help.

Ramadan Mubarak to all :)

Kamal

kamal don't worry about the age thing as long as your relationship is strong . you might go for an interview like me because I did not have a ceremony either.we got married in mosque in Seattle Washington without any family members or friends .

Hi Kamal...

We did not have a formal wedding ceremony. We simply went to the Adul. We had a very small party a couple days after and that was it. As for the age difference. I know some couples with double that in age difference and the husbands are here now. So just have to have the proof and all will be well.

Yes, as the others said, don't worry. My husband and I got married in front of an Adul. And I am 20 years older than my husband and my husband is about to get his visa.

My e-CAS has been updated to say that Rabat has received my husbands application for perminant residence on Aug 9.

I am wondering if this is an AOR?? And did anyone else going through Rabat receive this and then also a letter or email later with a new client ID??... ie R to F or visa versa.

My husband received a letter from Rabat last month after 3 month's. No e-mail just a letter. The letter just stated they received his app and this is your new client id number.

Ok.... so for clarification... did your client ID number change or just the letter infront of it.

I have seen a few posts where people have said the letter changed in front of the number but the number stayed the same.

I wonder if my husband will also receive a letter then? I am my husbands representative for the app so I thought any communication would be emailed to me..... ?

I got my letter back in April saying I was approved and my application was tranfered to Rabat for futher proccessing. My husband got his letter last month like I stated and he did not get a Letter but he did get a number like mine. What changed in his letter was one number from mine. As far as I know and heard my husband will be notified about the process and not me. Your husband should be receiving a letter from Rabat in the next couple of month's with his number. Hope this has helped you... :)
