Wow...that is impressive!! Most people I talk to say..."Forget it during Ramadan...no one will be doing anything" haharjessome said:
My husband got his email notice for the interview a few years ago during Ramadan. His interview occurred 3 or 4 days after Ramadan was finished.
The locally engaged staff might be slower off the mark but they still have to work. The bigger issue is that summer is posting season where VO's get reposted and/or moved around. There's no way to tell if anyone is being moved or reposted in Rabat but some offices are short-staffed during posting season until the dust settles. Summer is also vacation time and if I were in their shoes, I'd be taking vacay during Ramadan. It's fricken' HOT in Morocco right now!dair2dv8103100 said:Wow...that is impressive!! On June 28, my husband was asked to go to the visa office to bring more pictures and more emails of us and to pay for the visa. They told him that they would give him a definite answer in 25 days. During all my stay, we have not heard from them I was hoping to get great news while with him... They even told him on the phone that he might be able to come to Canada with me. So I don't know when I will see him again...
So sorry to hear this. I was hoping to hear that he would be returning with you as well! I really hope you will hear something soon.Habibti said:It is with a very sad heart I am leaving Morocco tonight, after spending 5 weeks with my husband.
