First of all congratulations
Your wife seems to be one of the lucky ones that is being processed quickly.
For the interview your wife needs to take any proof that you have of your relationship, from before you sent your application, as well as all of the extra proof from after you sent your application. Any pictures, chat logs, proof of phone calls, plane ticket stubs, anything you have to provide additional proof.
They may have asked her to bring additional items with her, such as additional documents. She also needs to take all of her knowledge of yourself and your family , and she should try to relax if possible. it is all questions that she should already know about you and your family. They just ask questions to know her true interst in this relationship.
They tell some people on the day of the interview that they are accepted, others are told they will notify them of their decision because they want to take a further look at the evidence provided.
If she is approved she will receive a call to return to get her Visa in her passport. They issue Visa's on Wednesdays. I have heard of Visa's being issued as soon as the following week after the interview, as well as several months after the interview. My Husband waited 2 months to get his following the interview. It was a long wait, but at least he was told at the interview that he was approved so it was less taxing on the nerves. lol
If it would be a refusal, ( but don't think of that, just think positive ) She would receive a refusal letter in the mail, usually a few weeks after the interview. this letter would give the reasons for refusal, as well as the steps for you to take to appeal the decision.
It's just my opinion, but I believe they will probably issue her Visa before her medical expires. Just be prepared to get her airline ticket quickly if necessary so she can leave before the expiry of the medical .
If you think your wife for some reason cannot leave before the expiry of her medical, then I would say another medical may be a good idea.
Congratulations again, and good luck with everything.

Greetings All,
Great News!!
I just wanted to let you all that that I got a call from my wife this morning telling me that they have scheduled her for an interview on June 23rd at 8am!!
I have to say I am scratching my head a little because it will be almost 5 months since the day that Rabat got our files that this interview has been scheduled and I don't know if I should be worried - Rabat never does anything this quick (LOL!).
To be honest, I was expecting longer wait times and for that reason I've been on the sidelines and asking a question or two about the process but now I would like to take it up a notch and request feedback of everybody who has knowledge of the interview and all the next steps that usually occur.
So here I go:
1. What will my wife need to bring to the interview? Is there anything else that she will need to know for that day?
2. After the interview is complete, will she know anything that day and if not, approximately how long after can she expect to hear back from them?
3. If the interview was successful, could you briefly outline what are the next steps? i.e. is the passport given on the interview date or on another visit?
4. The Interview is June 23rd. Her Medical is set to expire August 13th. Would you recommend that she preemptively seek to renew her medical in the event that this whole process after the interview goes on past 1 month?
I honestly did not think they would be getting to her file till October so I am a little shocked/surprised but mostly ecstatic at this news and I pray that this news serves as hope for all others who are waiting to be with their loved one.
I may be making more inquiries in the coming days when more questions come to mind but for now, any information that you kind folks can provide pertaining to the interview and next steps would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Irfan
