Ohh sweet.... I also Glgot BCPNP so attached that for my Spouse open work permit application.

no update as off now 60 days today already... last i saw was medicals have been passed but its been over 10 days already since then. im not sure how long it will take since my lawyer just say she will inform once she has an update.

You can see my timeline.It took 84 days for me which is unusual from normal 60 days processing. You can check the processing times in the google spreadsheet in 13th page.

I applied for spouse open work permit for my wife on April 5, no medicals and online application. It's been more than two months but no updates in his application at all.
Can I submit case specific inquiry from Canada while he is living in India
Would that create any problem or not?
Please help me out with this problem. I am really tensed now.

hello Unsung,

i aplpied through a lawyer in canada on apr 22 this year. i was told it would take 3 weeks till may end possible but how great june end is approaching already. anyway the lawyer said she will do CSE n update me. I was rejected twice b4 for TRV- Visitor paper based application in delhi. We took a lawyer in hope it will help us. so keeping fingers crossed abt it. but do not really like the wait, things have to b put on hold bcos this could workout anytime. well lets pray for every1 to have a speedy approval. CIC doesnt understand how couples feel on being tested with their patience. peace bro

vfs website won't let you track your status its only meant to track your passport. Did you do upfront medicals or got a request from cic for the same.

With upfront medicals I am not sure if you can even track the status of your application. We submitted paper app as well and the only way I figured out for tracking was with the application number. You recieve the same when you get a request for medical. Other than that all you have is your vfs tracking info.

I think there is a way to track your application by linking it to your cic online account. It was posted somewhere on http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/spouse-open-work-permit-t103723.3015.html. Go through this and hopefully you will find some info. In case you have your application number (starts with W usually) you can go to https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/eta/applicationQuery?lang=en&_ga=1.165476543.141049417.1447965433 and put the passport holder info. It will give you your application status. that's how I was tracking my husband's application.

Hi,
Me (WP) and My wife (OWP) applied together and she has signed the"User representative form" to appoint me as family representative. Three weeks back I have submitted some addition documents for her application. But today cic has emailed me and telling me that they couldn't find any "Use of Representative form". So they cant add those documents. I am really worried. I have send the form again. Now I am wondering if the additional documents will be added or not. Anyone who has similar situation kindly share.
