You need to provide transcripts (original or notarised). You are only to provide information, you are not required to provide exit stamps etc. Follow the link to the guide:

As you did not live in Qatar for 6 months or more, it wont be an issue....

Well, I just wrote my name in English in the space provided as English is my official language. I think this que is for those languages whose alphabets are completely different from the English/French alphabets like Chinese, Arabic etc. I amsure you wont be penalised if you write you write your name in English there....Mandie

Hi everybody,

I have a question regarding the documents to proof my education. Do I need to send copies of my secondary education certificate as well or just my certificates for my master's degree at the university? Hoe can I proof that I fulfilled 17 years of education when they cannot tell when I started my education (in Primary School)?

I hope somebody can help me with this.

Thank you,

Michaela

You only need to send certificates and transcripts of your POST secondary education....this is the only proof you need. For the pre university education, you only list the years you have spent in any stage(primary/secondary/college/university). Dont know forget they may have information about how many years one spends at each educational level for different countries.....Mandie

i planned to move to Vancouver- British columbia, under 4152, where i can apply for work permit for social workers.

Thank you so much Mandie. That's very comforting as it makes the documentation so much easier! ;D

I already have an accredited translation of my post secondary education certificate (my master's degree diploma) from the US as I had it translated there when I lived there. Do you think that this document will be sufficient as my original is in German? It has an official mark/stamp on it and it is obviously in English.

Michaela

Thank you for your help in advance.

Hi everybody,

I have a question since I am in the process of filling in all necessary documents for the application.

I have read this in the "Instruction Guide" for the application:

All applicants must undergo a medical examination.
You and your family members, whether they will be accompanying you or not, must undergo and pass a medical examination. To pass the medical examination you or your family members must not have a condition that:
- is a danger to public health or safety, or
- would cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada.
Examples of ―excessive demand‖ include ongoing hospitalization or institutional care for a physical or mental illness.

I am confused by the fact that all family members must undergo a medical examination. By family members, do they mean my spouse, who is coming with me and is on my application ("Generic Application Form"), or all family members including my father, brother and half-brother, who I have to list on the form "Additional Family Information". My father, brother and half-brother will never move to Canada and I don't want them to have to take a medical exam.

I would appreciate if somebody could clarify this for me.

Thank you for the reply. But just to clarify, I am female ;D I will only include my husband on my application so he is the only one having to take the medical exam, correct?

Also, did you read my last post as well:

I have also sent you a PM. I hope I am not requesting too much help :-[ I really appreciate your help.
