Hi everybody,
I have a question since I am in the process of filling in all necessary documents for the application.
I have read this in the "Instruction Guide" for the application:
All applicants must undergo a medical examination.
You and your family members, whether they will be accompanying you or not, must undergo and pass a medical examination. To pass the medical examination you or your family members must not have a condition that:
- is a danger to public health or safety, or
- would cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada.
Examples of ―excessive demand‖ include ongoing hospitalization or institutional care for a physical or mental illness.
I am confused by the fact that all family members must undergo a medical examination. By family members, do they mean my spouse, who is coming with me and is on my application ("Generic Application Form"), or all family members including my father, brother and half-brother, who I have to list on the form "Additional Family Information". My father, brother and half-brother will never move to Canada and I don't want them to have to take a medical exam.
I would appreciate if somebody could clarify this for me.
