so it means that no need for current employer reference letters or other than 4152 ?
As far as I understand the process, you only have to prove the NOC you are applying under. Look at schedule 3, Que 12. The NOC listed under que 12 is what you are going to be assessed on. Of course you are to mention your current occupation in Q11 but providing experience letter for a NOC which is not relevant to your NOC will not have any bearing on the application. You could just add current reference letter if that will give u a peace of mind.
I had request for additional docs (reference letter) from VO and they said:

"•Original letters of employment as proof of your employment as a Social Worker (National Occupation Classification Code#4152) for you. These must be letters from your employer(s) that indicate your job title, specific duties, responsibilities, and length of employment"

Hi everybody,

I have a question regarding "Proof of Admission" as stated in the "Document Checklist" under section 8 "Travel documents and passports":

I have been living in the United Kingdom for over 3 years now and am not planning to move back to my home country so I will request my visa office to be London. This is what is says in the document regarding having another visa office other than that of your home country:

If the visa office you have specified for processing your application is not the visa office responsible for your country of nationality, provide proof that you have been lawfully admitted for a period of at least to a country for which the specified visa office is responsible.

Proof of lawful admission is in the form of a stamp in the passport or a status dacument issued at the Port of Entry or other place of admission.

Submit photocopies of:
- current or expired entry/exit stamps in your national passport, and
- current or expired status documents indicating the date you were admitted and the validity.

My problem is that I am a EU citizen (my home country is Austria) so I can live and work anywhere in the EU without a lawful admission document therefore I don't have a stamp in my passport or documentation of admittance to the UK. Do I still need to proof that I have been living here for the past three years? I only have my pay slips that state that I have started working at a company in the United Kingdom over three years ago and obviously I have utility bills to show that I have been living here.

What document should I send with my application to proof that I have been living in the United Kingdom for the past three years and is it even necessary?

I hope somebody can help!

Michaela

Hi,

Am new at the forum, I got my 2nd AOR from London in September they requested for:

1. Employment Update: From the time I applied to the date of the letter.
2. Original Educational Documents for me and Spouse.

Can anybody tell what the timeline is after submitting the requested documents to London VO.

Respected members,

I am looking for quick and kind response.
My wife is PA and I am dependent with two kids.
I have concern regarding POF…….
Does money should be in my wife personal bank account or it is ok and acceptable by CIC if I send them my personal bank statement.
Regards

Hi everybody!

I have a question regarding filling out the application form "Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)":

It says "Where do you intend to live in Canada?". Does this mean that I have to then live in the city that I put down in my application? Is it binding? What if I find a job somewhere else or change my mind and decide to live in another city rather than the one that I stated on my application form?

Can this be a problem?

Thank you for any help or advice.

AS a FSW, what you put on the application is not binding, so you can change your mind about which province to live in (except Quebec which has its only immigration procedure).

Thank you for this information. I have a general idea where I would like to live but this might change depending on the availability of employment.

Hi everybody,

I have two questions regarding the affidavit that has to accompany a translation of documents to the CIO:

1. I am looking for a translator in the UK, who also does affidavits but it seems that all the translators I contacted have no clue what I am talking about. Can anybody please give me information on how they got their documents translated in the UK?

2. I have about 6 German documents that need to be translated. Do I need one affidavit per document or is one affidavit for all documents enough (if I have all the documents translated by one company)?

I hope somebody can help because I am quite frustrated and struggle with the translation of my documents.

Michaela
