Lol, don't know why I thought you were female.. :-[ so it's only ur husband who will do the medical.
Secondly, so far as your post sec certificate has been translated to English by a reputable agency, that should be fine.
Finally I have replied to your PM.

Don't worry about that! It might not be obvious that I am a woman, my name is not very common in the world ;)

The translation was done by an accredited company (WES - World Education Services) so I hope it should be okay.

Hi everybody,

I have a question and hope that somebody can help me:

I am the principal applicant and my husband will be on my application as well as my spouse. I have no children. Do I need to fill in the document "Additional Dependants Declaration" (IMM0008DEPENU) for my husband? Is he considered my dependant or do they only mean any children if applicable?

Thank you for any help in advance.

Hello Michaela and welcome to social work thread:)

I looked on the application guide and it looks like you would fill out for your spouse "Additional Dependants Declaration". I cut and paste from the application guide on cic site. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG74.asp

Dependant(s)
You, the principal applicant must answer each question on behalf of each of your dependant(s).

Note: Remember that all questions in this section are about your dependant.

You can add up to five (5) dependants in this form.

To add a new dependant to the application, click the “Add Dependant” button.

To remove a dependant from the application, click the “Remove Dependant” button.

If you have more than five (5) family members, you must complete the Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form for each additional family member in order to include everyone in your application.

Important
You must list all family members in your application for permanent residence, whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not. You must also provide details on family members whose location is unknown (including those missing or presumed dead). If you don’t, you will not be able to sponsor family members at a later date if they are not listed on your application.Dependant’s Personal Details
Question Action
1-9
Questions 1 to 9 are identical to the questions you answered for yourself. Refer to the previous instructions to help you answer the questions for your dependant(s).

10
a) From the list, select your dependant’s relationship to you, the principal applicant:

•Adopted Child
•Child
•Common-law partner
•Grandchild
•Other
•Spouse
•Step-Child
•Step-Grandchild
b) Complete if you chose “Other”

Hi senior and fellow applicants

I have a question, I collect bank certificate on May15, 2011 when I apply first. As you know I got NER and going to apply again. Should I collect new bank certificate or I can submit previous one (I go through CIC web site and I do not found any information regarding this- How old bank certificate applicant could submit). And should I notarize pages of passport and National ID.

I would think you would need to get another bank statement, its been a while since you last application. I do not believe you need to notorize the passport copies unless of course the cic application guide requires it. Retirement fund would be ok only if it the funds are transferable and unemcumbered, some retirement funds have restrictions about withdrawl etc, so it would depend on the particulars of your account. Good luck:)

Hi everybody,

I have TWO questions:

(1) regarding police certificates:
I have all my police certificates from the different countries I have lived in but I am still waiting for the police certificate from the US. As the police certificates cannot be older than 3 months I am a bit panicky as I am not sure that I will get the US certificates in time before the others expire.

Is it possible to file my application now with all the documents except my US police certificate? Or will they consider my application as incomplete or might it jeopardise the success of my application?

(2) regarding proof of work experience:
In the "Document Checklist" it states that the applicant has to provide letters of reference from all employers for the past 10 years. Do I need to provide ALL reference letters or only those that are stating my experience as a social worker, which in my case was only one employer for the past three years.

It would be very difficult for me to contact all my employers for the past ten years to provide a letter of reference.

I would appreciate if somebody can help due to their own experience or otherwise :)

1. Send application with the PCCs you have. VO will request for US PCC at a later stage.
2. Experience letters only for the NOC which you are claiming points for ( in ur case SW)

Experience letters is for only the NOC you are claiming points for (4152). If you were claiming points for more than one NOC, then you would have get reference for other NOCs as well. So in your case, experience letter for 2004-2008 is needed. CIC is not interested in what you doing now or did in the past if it has no relationship with 4152.
