Man... Sorry, but 8 month pregnant woman who takes additional leg (additional stop - take-off and landing - big stress for the baby) JUST TO MAKE SELFIES looks sooo suspicious. The intention to stay in Canada and deliver here is 100% obvious.
Anyways, flying at 32 weeks is not safe at all, you should reconsider your doctor's competence.

I am sorry about your wife's bad experience, it must have been very hard time for her since she is in high pregnancy.
But, put aside the fact it is your wife and put yourself in immigration officer's shoes. Pregnant woman close to her due date, taking flight from Lagos to Baltimore around 38 hours long (direct flight, correct me if I'm wrong), all alone with no escort, stops in Canada to take some selfies because she have heard how people are nice here. Coincidentally her husband applied for SINP, and she also has intention to immigrate since she already has Express Entry profile.
Each and every thing that officers have done, they have right to do it no matter what you think of it. Their job is to do checks, to search your cell phone, to ask you questions about your intentions and to find out who is entering the country. And to stop suspicious people from entering.
You should have known that before you let her take that flight and risk both your and her chance to immigrate to Canada, and especially her and babies health.
Yes, they should have asked her how is she feeling after that long flight and if she would like to drink some water, but it is not their job, it would be just a humane gesture.

You are the only one who should take the resposibility of your decisions and your acts, don't blame the people for doing their job properly.
It sounds inhumanely, harsh and brutal, but this is from the perspective of somebody who is not emotionally involved in this case.
Better luck next time and think twice before you do such a big step

I mean take 'selfie' in its literary terms and I like your take on this issue.
But note I had my first two kids in the US and I own an apartment there. Giving birth in Canada would a wrong thing to do especially not knowing a single soul in the country.
The doctor's report isn't an incompetent opinion. Most airlines allow up to 34 weeks and Delta Airline has no restriction whatever and has in-flight doctor. My wife gave the officer all these information, showed her doctor's appointment and correspondence in the US. Well, I moved on. I believe my wife just met a wrong person, that's all. And thanks!

Please let's move on. Today is one month after submitting SINP, status is still 'application received'. I'll keep watching.

Hi Abdulqayyum,

PSK is like passport office , You should try to get PCC from passport office instead of local police .
Local police can give PCC only for that city/State/province while Passport office can give you PCC for country .

Translator Affidavit is required if one does not use a official translation office (they provide translation on official letterhead with contact details, stamp and they will be registered officially in this country they operate for providing translation service).

If one uses someone who is not an official translator, then they will need to provide affidavit so that they can declare their competency.

So translator affidavit depends on from where (or with whom) you are getting the documents translated. Telling I did not provide translator affidavit but got nomination is misleading without providing context.
