I am registered with APEGS. Please free to ask any questions.
Best of luck for all of you guys!
1) How much does APEGS charge to get a license under NOC-2173?
2) what are the documents required to apply for a license?

1. Around $200 for registration and around $80 for annual fees (in case that you stated that live outside SK and will not practice engineering)
2. For getting eligible to apply as an engineer, you need to get licensed as an EIT (Engineer-In-Training)
http://www.apegs.ca/Portal/Pages/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program

Getting registered as an EIT requires:
I. Academic assessment for your degree course content (most probably WES ECA satisfy this requirement) and a self-assessment. If you have already passed the NCEES's FE Exam, you wouldn't probably need to submit your WES ECA (http://ncees.org/exams/fe-exam/).
In my case, I passed the FE Exam before applying, which made life easier for me.

II. English competency proof, where passing an IELTS exam with score over 6 in all bands will satisfy this requirement.

III. Other documents: filling applications, submitting your ID and resume.

You can check the details from the link below.

Best regards!

@ Sanjeev(admin) and adrscuds,

Kindly share information why your profile becomes ineligible even though having 63 and 67 points respectively. Ignore the message if you feel that question is personal!!!!

Some applicants received additional doc request, while the other applications were rejected due to missing documents. Such cases clearly tells us that SINP has integrity issues.
I don't think it make sense to know the reason.

Wow, Just found that Sanjeev's profile become ineligible because he didn't obtain License for SINP, however he applied in Analyst stream (2171) which does not require license :o :o :o. This makes me nervous as I have also applied under NOC 2171 and I don't have this license either. :'( :'( :'( :'(

I can tell you that 2171 does not require any license from SINP. I myself have applied under 2171 and got nominated. Also, you can see in the sheet that other candidates have applied under 2171 and got nominated as well.

Let us not panic. The SINP Application Guide document clearly states 2171 does not require licensing.

Hi Experts!
I have a query regarding ECA ...I am the principal applicant and got my education assessed by University of Toronto ...but i found on CIC website that ECA document has to be submitted by both the principle applicant and the spouse.... That means my spouse educational credentials need to be assessed as well ????
Below is what i found on CIC website ......

Purpose

To confirm education claims and validate that the applicant meets program requirements
Document requirements

To receive program-specific points for education, the applicant must either
provide proof of having completed a Canadian secondary or post-secondary educational program; or
obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) and provide the ECA reference number in their application, along with proof of the foreign educational credentials for which points are being claimed.
Proof of completed Canadian or foreign educational credentials can include copies of
secondary or post-secondary education documents (certificates, diplomas or degrees); and
transcripts for successfully completed secondary or post-secondary studies, if available.
Where an ECA has been obtained, the applicant must provide the ECA reference number in their e-APR for online validation directly with the issuing organization.
A scanned copy of the ECA is not required when submitting the e-APR but may be requested by CIC at a later date.

Individuals who must submit this documentation

The principal applicant
Their spouse or common-law partner

If you want to claim points for your spouse's education, only then you will need to get ECA done or else no. If you do not want to claim points, then no need for ECA for your spouse.

Hi guys! I'm Jay from The Philippines. I'm just new here. I already received my nomination from SINP and ITA from CIC. I just need some clarification regarding proof of funds for Express Entry - Permanent Resident applicants. CIC is asking to list all bank and investment accounts, and the balance of each account over the past 6 months. Can someone explain this further? Is this the average balance or the ending balance of each month for the past 6 months? Your answers will be greatly appreciated.

Dear Jay,

Can you please make an entry in the SINP Spreadheet so that we can know the status of the applications..When did you submit your application and recd nomination ?

Do you mean, 2171 applicants are getting rejected for the reason of their job responsibilites not being in alignment with NOC 2171?
I would feel, it is better to confirm with SINP about the alignment of our work experience with claimed NOC-code, beforehand.

One can file a case(if interested), if SINP breaks integrity amidst processing an application.
