SINP 2015 WITHOUT JOB OFFER LET'S DREAM HERE !

Here is the whole story from my knowledge:

When you send your package to CIO, they will do two different checks (assessment) on your package, 1)completion check 2)eligibility assessment check .
In the first step they will check to see everything is complete in your package like any forms, supporting documents, payment fee receipt/form,... (Based on the checklist) and also they will check to see all of the information in your forms and signatures are filled correctly or not?
If one package pass their completion check then it will go to the next check and it is eligibility assessment check. For us in the PNP program this check is not very important and they only check the validity of your nomination letter and if it is OK then your application will be accepted to go to the further step. In this time, they will give you the AOR and it shows your application is accepted.

In the next step they will forward your application to your local visa office and when it reach there, your local visa office will send you the next AOR and it means your application is added to their processing queue and they will process your application based on their workload.
In many cases they will fulfill security and background checks first and when it passed they will send you medical request and the right of permanent resident fee request(Sometimes they will request medical and PCC together and it shows they didn't fulfill their security check yet and they will start it when your PCC reach them). When you pay fees and do your medical check and results back to them, your application will return to In Process and it will take about two months (in some situations more) to finalize your application and make their final decision on your application. After that they will send you the most enjoyable type of request of this story and it will be passport request and you will get your visa in the final stage.

After receiving your second AOR (From your local visa office), you will be able to check your application online and anytime you can ask them to update your postal address in their system and you will be sure, you never miss any correspondence from their side.

Address change - Ya thats my worry on communication till i get AOR . Let me find some more detail on address forwarding and po box usages. Problem is that i will not have new address till i reach to new place and find one apartment. Let us see. I(Everyone) wish the application at cic would have been online like our inland applications .

Do we need to as i am also in the same boat? I thought we can attach the old passport copy and new copy to avoid confusion to cic officer. Please update us if sinp is issuing new letter or advising us to use the same.

Good luck buddy. Its only reissue of the same letter hence nothing to worry except waiting period. So just be cool. This is not a new application process which involves decision.

I thought its only applicable if there is any change in family situation and address based on their below statement. Not sure. Yes the passport number is mentioned in the letter. It will be better to get new letter but thought i can just attach new passport detail to cic along with old passport copy.
"You must contact the SINP to inform our office of any changes to marital or family status and to notify us of any changes of address prior to receiving permanent resident status."

Now i am thinking if i need to send the application to cic with old passport number by June as passport expires in Jan.

CIO processing time is reduced from almost 5 months to 2 months and 1 week!

PNP applications have received by CIO on 25 FEB 2014 could receive AOR on 1 MAY 2015! Waiting time is only 2 months and 1 week (64days)!

We can hope this waiting time reduces more and more in the future.

YES, I know someone from SINP 2014 without job offer who could get nomination on 28 August 2014 and received visa on MARCH 2015. Visa office was New Delhi but his file transferred to Colombo.

So there is no need for attaching the Certificate of Nomination as they are not asking on it?

Yes, You can request from anybody else to pay your application fees and when you are using online method, you don't need to fill payment form [imm5620E] anymore and you should send the payment receipt (CIC website will create a receipt for you after payment) with your application to CIC. But note that when you print your payment receipt, you must write down payer's information in that receipt (in the specified fields) and then send it to CIC.

do you know which type of information of payer should we have in payment receipt?!for instance cvv2? or no just personnel information like name in the receipt as he dont put on the table his cvv2.

I do not see that cic is specifying any validity period a passport should have (something like this many number of months before we should apply). So its fine to apply but the application should reach at least before the passport expires. But please get the passport renewed soon and be ready so that you will be ready with the passport to go for medicals.

Also on the passport renewal, in my country i will have to explain and sign quite a few forms if i apply for passport after it is expired. So I think your country might have this rule but check it out. What i am trying to tell is that, most of the countries will have option to renew the passport within 1 year of passport expiry, you can consider to renew before current passport gets expired.
