My friends,
Finally I posted my package to CIO today and like computer games, I've got my "Mission Complete" message two hours ago!!! :p ;D :D :D

Now I am entering new level of this game with a long waiting time until I receive my AOR and medical request at the end of this level!

Anyway If you are going to post your package to CIO, I have an important advice for you:

As you noticed, in your nomination letter, SINP asked you to post your package to this address:

Citizen and Immigration Canada
Provincial Nominee Program
Centralized Intake Office
PO BOX 1450
Sydney, Nova Scotia B1P 6K5
CANADA

BUT Couriers like DHL,TNT,... won't accept the above address because it is a PO BOX and they need physical street address!

In this situation you must provide them the physical street address and it is:

Citizen and Immigration Canada
Provincial Nominee Program
Centralized Intake Office
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, Nova Scotia B1P 5Z2
CANADA

That's it! It will save you time and you don't need to go and search for that street address in front of post office counter! ;)
Hello VictoPapa

how did you make the fee payment?
If we pay online , should we include the fee payment form along with the receipt of the online payment.

Also did you mention the nomination number on top of the application package cover. Do you think its required to put the nomination number on top . Since there are lot of Province nominations , i think its better to keep the nomination number so that it make easy for CIC officer

Seniors ur advice pls.

I'm very positive that after May'15 the AOR waiting time would drop to just under 1 month. :)
I desperately want to celebrate the new year eve in saskachewan in anyway. :D

Hello,

Can you help me with these query, I am new here and would like to apply in upcoming Intake.

1) What category we have to select on form IMM0008, whether it will be "Skilled Worker" or "Provincial Nominee", I qualify for NOC 2173.

2) In my wife's passport, (FamilyName/SurName/LastName) area is blank, only (GivenName/FirstName) is mentioned. Now on Federal Forms, "Family Name(s)" is mandatory and we can left GivenName blank, so I filled her complete name in "Family Name(s)" column, BUT with SINP online application its mandatory to fill both firstname and lastname, I am not sure How should I deal with it?

Thanks,
Sanjeev

Dear friends,
Could we pay processing fee by others people visa card or no?
if yes, after online payment is it mandatory to fill form imm5620E(payment form)as the payer not accept to dedicate his card info to me by filling form(like cvv2 or expiry date).
please help what should I do?
Yes, You can request from anybody else to pay your application fees and when you are using online method, you don't need to fill payment form [imm5620E] anymore and you should send the payment receipt (CIC website will create a receipt for you after payment) with your application to CIC. But note that when you print your payment receipt, you must write down payer's information in that receipt (in the specified fields) and then send it to CIC.

I paid my fees online and you don't need to include fee payment form with your receipt.
I attached a label on the cover of my application and wrote my nomination number and also name of province (Saskatchewan) on that but I think it is not necessary to put those information there.

First, when you are going to apply in SIPN with NOC 2173, because it is a regulated occupation in Saskatchewan then you need to obtain your license eligibility first and then apply in SINP.

http://www.economy.gov.sk.ca/immigration/is-my-occupation-regulated/

In form IMM0008, for question 1, you must write "Economic" and for question 2 you must write "Provincial Nominee"

It seems your wife's passport information is not inserted correctly and I think you must first contact your passport issuing organization in your country to correct that matter and then apply with the new passport to avoid further immigration matters. But if you want to use current passport then you can write first name in the first name field and last name in the last name field inside SINP and for federal forms, the method yourself mentioned before is the best one.

Do you think, if I be more positive than you then is it possible, after May 15th, they expedite everything and dedicate our CITIZENSHIP instead of our permanent resident visas after we submitted our package to CIO and less than a month?!!!! :p :p :p ;D ;D ;D

mmmmmmmmmm let me see, it is a little hard but nothing isn't impossible in this world! :p :p :p

Ummm let me think... Yeah it's possible. I heard about someone applied for student visa and been given citizenship straightway... Hahha
The fact about this that I heard his student visa supposed to be till 2015 but immigration officer mistakenly given till 2051 which is after all more than just citizenship.! :D :D :D

CIC centralized intake office has stops taking paper based FSW and a big portion of PNP application since December 30, 2014. So of course the big amount of application load decreases. Currently they are giving AOR for December applicant which they would finish by may and after that they would have very little amount of paper base application comparing to now. So AOR processing time bound be as little as below 1 months. :D

This mean your AOR would be due around 20th June. :D

Yes, That is true and I think so they will return to their fast days very soon. When we look back in the last year, their delay was less than 2 months in May 2014 and it increased to 5 months in December. I hope we could get our AOR before August. ;)

FSWCIO and Victor,
Good assessment. Let me get my pack ready but waiting for PCCs.

As you have started on this topic then let me clear my confusion. The funny part was the time i took to search on terms IN and DM. After few hours I got IN as In Process (after the second fee or whatever) and later i tried and tried for DM and after 1 day I found that its Decision Made :). So let me here instead of breaking my head :).
Can you or anyone tell me the stages of CIC? I have confusion on which ones occur when.
Some guy in other forum says 'Received 1st AOR with XEP # May 2,2015. Waiting for the 2nd AOR...'. So here are the questions:

Sequence of stages at cic? I have confusion on when local visa office come into picture.
Do we have 2 AOR?
How to keep up with address changes after applying to cic? Should i worry less on it as we can check online but i need client id? I could see in some forum that we can call cic and get it, is it?

FSWCIO, Have you sent the package to CIC?

I also heard they send first AOR with XEP but we have to wait for the actual AOR with what we can track our application online. After getting the AOR they nowadays typically takes two week to send it to the visa office.
I haven't sent it yet...I'd send it on around 20 may :)

Good. 20th may target is ok.

So we get all communications through email (whether or not postal) correct? Thats what i could see the other forum guys discuss mostly on email communication but not sure if its true after AOR stage. I might move place after i sent the package hence i am checking what to do on it as i am thinking not to get consultants help.

if we receive xep then it means that our application is gone through initial verification and will not be returned back :), is that right?

Here is the whole story from my knowledge:

When you send your package to CIO, they will do two different checks (assessment) on your package, 1)completion check 2)eligibility assessment check .
In the first step they will check to see everything is complete in your package like any forms, supporting documents, payment fee receipt/form,... (Based on the checklist) and also they will check to see all of the information in your forms and signatures are filled correctly or not?
If one package pass their completion check then it will go to the next check and it is eligibility assessment check. For us in the PNP program this check is not very important and they only check the validity of your nomination letter and if it is OK then your application will be accepted to go to the further step. In this time, they will give you the AOR and it shows your application is accepted.

In the next step they will forward your application to your local visa office and when it reach there, your local visa office will send you the next AOR and it means your application is added to their processing queue and they will process your application based on their workload.
In many cases they will fulfill security and background checks first and when it passed they will send you medical request and the right of permanent resident fee request(Sometimes they will request medical and PCC together and it shows they didn't fulfill their security check yet and they will start it when your PCC reach them). When you pay fees and do your medical check and results back to them, your application will return to In Process and it will take about two months (in some situations more) to finalize your application and make their final decision on your application. After that they will send you the most enjoyable type of request of this story and it will be passport request and you will get your visa in the final stage.

After receiving your second AOR (From your local visa office), you will be able to check your application online and anytime you can ask them to update your postal address in their system and you will be sure, you never miss any correspondence from their side. ;)

Friends, if there are mistakes in my story please tell us the correct facts from your knowledge. ;)
