My wife's application went to 'In Progress' in early March. Still no mail or email about PPR. We are from Bangladesh. Is PPR always by mail instead of email?

Please check the website of VFS, Dhaka for any update. VFS people do not inform right away until it is urgent. They inform always late. You should get the PP with visa by now.

What's going on with Singapore VO..haven's heard any news at all..or people with SVO didn't update anything now. My ecas is still application received. I pray that someone in SVO will actually open my file soon instead of being in a pile somewhere.

MY hubby(sponsor)got an email today requesting proof of employment from Singapore visa office.and they just gave 60 days for submitting it.he already got approved this june.All my worry is he is unemployed right now.and we can't arrange that.I think they are going to refuse it.because they have mentioned that failure to comply may result in the refusal of your application.guys plz help me.what should I DO?? :-[ :-[

Don't worry.

Ask your husband that he does not go to WELFARE. Only people living on Welfare, other than disabilily wefare, can not bring spouse. According to immigration act if your husband is not in welfare he can bring his wife. Immigration act says as follows :

You may not be eligible to be a sponsor if you:
•did not meet the terms of a sponsorship agreement in the past,
•did not pay alimony or child support even though a court ordered it,
•get government financial help for reasons other than being disabled,

Ask your husband to talk to any immigration lawyer for confirmation and inform SVO that he is not working and he is not in welfare too.

Hoping for a miracle for SVO to rush things a little bit.. the waiting is just too much... i hope they realize that 2 years+ separating a newly wed couple is just torture.. :'( :'( :'(
