Hello all,

I applied for PR (family sponsorship) outside Canada many moons ago. I should be getting my PR status soon. Thing is, I am currently in Canada and have been here for a year on extended visa - do I need to go to Singapore to collect it or can I request to collect my PR card in Canada? Appreciate any advise as I have to plan for my flight as soon if I need to.

I assume you need to submit your passport for visa/and COPR issuance?
While you are still here in Canada it is possible for you to send your passport to Ottawa instead of Singapore for finalization and issuance. As for completing the landing it can be done with an appointment at an immigration office. I assume once you receive PPR and you send in your passport to Ottawa further instructions would be given to you.

If it is not required for you to send in your passport it is possible to have you COPR mailed to you with in Canada and then make arrangements again with an immigration office to do the landing.

Today i got an email from svo for passport request again. Thing is i already got passport request on 22nd april. And i have submitted my passport in 23rd april. On vfs tracking system it says passport recieved by canada visa centre. I am really confused. Please help!!!

Sent email to SVO telling about whole situation,that you have already sent PP,now u get another PPR.

Not yet...price and transit both is good in turkish airline.what about u?

They have had my wife's passport for 52 days. Just switched to decision made last week so we are happy. Anxiously waiting though!
