Thanks Kchandana74,
I took the advice from farazh but in hindsight I should have followed the advice on cic website. I am now waiting to hear what the SPF would say about my appeal, i imagine they may ignore it till I get the proper documentation.

Thank you Kchandana for the clarification. This will help me a lot in PCC. I will work as per your advise. +1 to you.

All the best guys...!

Guys just an update, I just received an sms that my police certificate appeal has been approved which means I can get the COC from singapore police force. I'm a bit confused now cos the CIC website says they would send a letter, however I used the form which was posted on this forum. Now not sure what to do

This is great, This means you are done with Singapore PCC.

No. I dont think so. Its an approval of appeal. Now Kenok has to submit the application along with the request. Now the question, is what is the request? The one that was used with appeal or a direct CIC letter.

As you rightly said it's approval of appeal, however for the actual application I just needed to pay cos I submitted all the documents for the appeal. I will keep you guys updated, it's possible they would request for more documents

@ Kenok - what all documents did you submit?

Go ahead and apply for the PCC now using the link

It will take roughly 5-10 days and they will post it to home address. Also you can ask a friend to collect it. You need to name this proxy in your application

If you have already submitted your PR application, you need to to wait till IRCC send you the request to upload the PCC

Thanks Kchandana74. The application has been approved and I now need to go get my fingerprint. Just wondering after I get the PCC do I upload it together with the documents or still wait for CIC to send the letter, a bit confused now. Thanks

Hi Rkhurana,
DISCLAIMER!! I really don't want to be source of unverified information, the cic website clearly states that for singapore you have to wait for them to send you a letter requesting the PCC. However, this is my experience, someone in this forum posted a link to a request form, the person has since removed the original post, however the link is here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/PC_LetterA_e.pdf I am working on an EP in Singapore so in addition to this form, I attached a copy of my passport together with front and back of my EP. It took about 1 week from appeal to approval and only a couple of hours from approval of the appeal to acceptance of the application- I paid last night and by this morning it was accepted!!. Now I have booked for fingerprint for next monday although I am worried if CIC will accept it, they may request another one which may mean double payment so it may be best to wait for instructions from cic

@ kenok - Thanks for the information.I am confused what to do in this situation !
Having said this , I don't think so you will have to go for Singapore PCC again , as CIC will already find it in your application. It will not make sense for them to ask for it again.

OK guys,

What I told you the procedure I did for me (a Singaporean) and my wife (She worked in Singapore, not a Singaporean)

I waited for IRCC request letter and then applied, I got all and submitted. Two days back I got my PPR too

Now Kenok has done it before receiving the request and SPF has approved the appeal. It seems to be an exception, however it has worked

Now apply for the PCC. Once you applied, they will send you a e-mail to send the finger prints. Then you have to post the fingerprints to them. If you are already in SG, u can call them and get an appointment

This is what the email said for me
