Just checking if I’m one of the only one who got AOR later in September (27 Sept) who hasn’t received a test invite yet? It would be interesting to know in what order they process applications

Sep 12 AOR, Sep 26 BG, still waiting for further updates.

Dec 3 - Test Invite on online tracker shows "In progress" and shows dates for Dec; yet to receive email with details on booking the test.
Background check shows completed.

Even I felt like this was an unusually long timeline vs applications from previous months.

Got invite last week, Sept 18th AOR.
Did you get BG completed?

No updates since AOR on my end. Looks like they last looked at my application on Oct 1

I have an AOR shortly after yours (application submitted Sept 24, AOR Oct 4) and no test invite received yet. I did get two ghost updates last week (Nov 26 & 27) but no other info since AOR.

At least they are doing something in the background. I’m sure your invite will arrive in the next few days. What does a ghost update look like?

I decided to check what the current processing times for citizenship are these days and it’s 7 months I guess they are busier than they were a while back.

Yes, I'm glad to see movement of any kind for sure, even in the background!

A ghost update is where the date on the top of the tracker changes (e.g. at the top, mine currently says "Updated: November 27") but there are no actual updates or activity on the tracker below. My BG and LPP have not changed (have been listed as "in progress" since October 4) test & oath are still 'not started', and the last update on the timeline is still Application Filed - October 4.

I received an email containing important information for regarding electronic citizenship certificate. I do not have an oath swearing date yet. Anyone else experience this? Citizenship not started on tracker

I guess it is December now, vacation time, more people has time to apply citizenship and less staff work to process it.

This is same as my timeline.
No test invite yet.

I'd think majority are in this state. From the available trackers and this forum, I'd expect to see further movement for most Sept applicants during late Dec or early Jan, with the holidays I'd say mid-January.

You need to be a bit patience. It's been just 3 months and if we want to consider the processing time which is 7 months then still 4 months left to get to the point to be worried, right

Just to give you heads up, based on the sheet, so many people still waiting for BG check to be completed since Jan 2024 ( i am not talking about last year or even before that) , even LPP are still in progress. And they have no clue how long we are looking at to get any update on those stages.
