Citizenship Test in tracker changed to "In Progress" : Jan 17, 2023 (Test window Jan 18 - Feb 7, 2023)

as per ATIP my primary office is CPC Sydney and secondary office is Niagara falls IRCC. but i got the test invite from Hamilton office.

I would send it to the office that's in ATIP notes i.e Niagara.

I have concluded from all this that there is no certainty, flow or actual timeline. application can get stuck at any stage without any reason or explanation. I was happy when i got the test invite only to realise that my BG is stuck with security. it took forever for them to clear it. then LPP and now oath hasn't started. unbelievable

Oct 5th. i know its not that long ago but i saw people getting it within a week and also i was reading in other threads people who are waiting for a couple of months for their oath to go in progress

I got my oath exactly 2 weeks after LPP was complete.
I am totally with you on that, their processing is everywhere. I saw someone on a FB group, they applied in Sep 2023 and today they got oath invite. My blood was boiling.

I see people in 2023 thread getting depressed that they not getting Oath when they have just completed 3 months . On top of it they call IRCC, not sure what the agents would be telling them.

Hey everyone!

Wondering if anyone is in the same position as me. Applied from Ottawa.

Me timeline below:

Online application: 7th Sept, 2022
BG completed: 23rd Dec, 2022
Test completed: 27th Mar, 2023 (outside Canada)
Language completed: 21st June, 2023
Online Teams interview: 20th Sept, 2023 (from outside Canada)
Returned to Canada on 5th Oct and emailed boarding pass to office, also raised a webform.

Since the interview there has been no update. My initial office was Niagara but application got moved to Mississauga. Just received GCMS notes and Prohibitions/Presence is assigned to RC-8090 which I believe is bad news as it will delay my application further. Location is assigned to “E-Grant Interview PM03 Ready”.

The application is beyond its due date of Sept 7, 2023. Are there any steps I can take to escalate? Thanks!

There is no date yet for the Oath Ceremony. How long does it usually take to be scheduled? I was about to submit my PR renewal documents, but I may put a hold on that...

when was your security screening initiated and when did it complete? there are many of us waiting for 7-8+ months for security clearance

Do Oath Instructions emails come exactly 6 calendar days before the ceremony date or are they here and there?
