Clearly read the instructions in your test invite e-mail and follow the instructions letting them know that you are outside Canada. Once you receive permission, you can sit the test from outside Canada
I did read the instructions, but I am trying to see if anyone has similar situation. and I am looking for tips for test and studying.

The answer to your earlier question is simple - you are outside Canada. As for others in your situation, I'll let them answer...

As for the test - read or listen to the the audio book twice and do practice tests:

Just read the book twice with all of your heart and brain cells and when you start scoring above 85% in practice tests then you are good to go ahead!!

FINALLY got updates on our application after 1.5 months of waiting after completing the test (IRCC timings are all over the place, seriously)

Language, Prohibitions, Physical Presence - Completed 25 February 2023
Decision Made: Waiting
Oath Letter: Waiting

Hopefully will have more news to share soon!

@admin please update the tracker!
Which office?

Got the test invite today. Have to take it from March 3 to 23. Unfortunately, I will be out of Canada for vacation(USA) for that period.
Did anyone have a similar experience? Do I have to state that I am taking the test outside of Canada, can I reschedule?

And also, tips for studying would me much appreciated!

Thank you IA

If you take the test outside Canada, it tends to trigger an interview with IRCC, so just an FYI but nothing serious they will just ask random questions about you that even a stranger who does not know you can answer ( What is your address, when did you come back to Canada? have you ever been locked up? and then they will say goodbye)

As it relates to study!! everyone is different, but the test is very easy even a fool can pass all common sense questions (They have fill-in-the-blank( in multiple-choice format, and Trie and false)

I have never read the book (I hate reading)

But I used these:
I kept practicing over and over,(until I passed all these tests) and I did the test and got 20/20 in 9 min total, the test is common sense questions and some dates.

Good luck
