Today I got an email from CIC from Vancouver asking about my fingerprints. I guess my case was sent to BC because of workload in Ontario. September 15 is going to be a 1yr that I applied. Anyone has a clue IF I should move my case to BC now since I am moving there on September 15 2020 ? My fingerprints should I run it ASAP or wait ?

Thats probably the first case of finger print request since covid started. Usually FP requests do come from BC if I'm not mistaken. Don't wait for anything. Get it done ASAP, IMHO.

November 2019 thread
are you sure? Are you referring to the following? they are just talking about an applicant who asked IRCC to send a test email to him (to test the email delivery), and it's not an invite to the test per se!

Copied from Nov. Forum!
Same thing happened to me. I called IRCC and found out they had entered my email address incorrectly into the system. Got them to update it and send a test email to me. You may want to verify your email details with IRCC.

Why are you giving people false information? This guy took the test on March 9th. Below is his timeline. I believe @Survivor is confused by his post. The November applicant talked about testing the email delivery and not taking the test per se.

pp. Sent: 22 Nov, 2019
App. Delivered: 27 Nov, 2019
AOR: 22 Feb, 2020

There was 28 applicants in today's oath ceremony and I checked with clerk , they are moving ahead with bigger numbers for online oath as they are not sure about when things will be back to normal.

All the best to one and all (waiting for test, scheduled for the oath, waiting for their citizenship certificate). Your turn will come soon !!!!!

Take care and stay safe.

Has somebody hear any news about test invites at all? I don't know what is going with IRCC, they are holding their backs way too much.

Hi guys,
I need your help. Our application was submitted in September 2019 and received email that our application was in process in December. Since then, me and my wife have not received any email about exam etc. We are just worried, I don’t know if there’s anybody out there who are also experiencing this. Do we need to follow up our application or wait? This is what it shows online when we check our application status:

Citizenship
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on September 17, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 5, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on January 10, 2020.

My application is also showing the status as "In Process" since January 13th 2020 and did not change to "Decision Made". We did the Citizenship exam and waiting for our oath. We cannot contact the CIC regarding the status-related questions using the web form, as they mentioned "You may use this form if: Your application has exceeded normal processing times. We will not respond to your enquiry if the application is within normal processing times.". I will wait till September 14th, then I will and ask the question. But, I hope CIC will complete our case before that time.
