Moving to BC and I update my address. Hopefully BC has any offices for TEST. I just got my fingerprints requested and I confirmed it's sent to CIC.

It was Calgary office.

We've had our test Feb 27 and I believe status turned into "Decision Made" right after that. When I checked my application status on March 1 it was there already. And then we all know what happened in the middle of March - everything stopped. It took almost six months for us to cross the finish line.

Another journey comes to an end for me.

Though an unexpected one (in the midst of a Pandemic) but definitely a moment to remember (initial few to experience a virtual ceremony) and cherish for the entirety of my life!

Details below:

St.Catharines applicant processed at Scarborough till DM.
File transferred on request to Niagara Falls. Transfer requested during the test interview on 5th March.
App Type: Single Physical
Presence Days: 1096.5
App Sent: Sep 03, 2019
App Delivered: Sep 04, 2019
In Process: 06 Jan 2020
Test date: 5th March 2020 at Scarborough
DM = 6th March 2020
Virtual Citizenship Ceremony Expression of Interest email received: 13 July 2020
Notice to Appear Video Oath One-on-one Virtual Ceremony email received(fresh oath invitation): 14 July 2020
Pre Ceremony Registration session: 28 July 2020 (Zoom meeting to check the IDs. I used my PR card, Drivers License and Health Card to identify myself.)
Virtual Citizenship Ceremony scheduled and COMPLETED: 30 July 2020

Though the invitation said one to one ceremony, there was one more applicant who took their Oath with me.

It was a super exciting, bitter sweet moment, taking the oath realizing after it's completion, I leave behind an identity that I had while setting foot on this land and looking forward with a new one to the wonderful life that awaits for the rest of my life...

Post ceremony, we need to send the signed Oath form and photo of the destroyed PR card (instruction to destroy the card is provided in a separate email after the oath ceremony) via email.

All the best to one and all (waiting for test, scheduled for the oath, waiting for their citizenship certificate).

I requested my notes on 3rd July and received it on 14th July. It can take between 2-4 weeks.

I have exactly the same timelines (Scarborough office). What is your application status says. For me it's as below. Wondering if it is supposed to change after the test is over... Or will it be directly 'decision made' after this.

4. We sent you a notice on February 4, 2020 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 24, 2020 at 11:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Hi, new here in this forum. I submitted my application in September 2019 as well. The last correspondence I received was for fingerprints on February 10 and haven't had any status change since then. Is it because of COVID that it might be taking so long?

Ecas was update to decision made in end of August 2020 but after that no response for oath ceremony. Confused when decision has been made so why waiting for oath call?

Because they still have to schedule you for the oath and that may take time, it does not happen right away. Mine was DM on Dec 16, 2019, but I only got my oath invite on Feb 29,2020.

Is there any winnipeg visa office got test invite recently? I called CIC today and they said Winnipeg office just opened on Sep 1 back and started processing applications?
