I just got a message in my account saying that they need my marriage certificate in order to continue processing my application.

I'm freaking out a bit because I did submit my marriage certificate with the application already.

I'm not sure what to do here... Any advice?

after medical pass,if i recived RPRF request its mean background check has completed ? any one help me when i get ppr ??

Scan a copy of ur marriage certificate and send it through web form to cic

Did u paid the complete fee for ur permanent resident fee

Ok, but why would they ask me to do this if they have a paper copy?

Sometimes those guys do act funny just send it asap to avoid delay in processing

Im so confused, i paid my parents RPRF fee upfront in 2017/12/15 but my application was under background checking.... yesterday i also recived an email that request me to pay RPRF fee again, which i contact with my MP whats going on with my application, he told me that i forgot to recived the recipet from them on the time of payment fee that they lost your RPRF fee....than i also paid again yesterday 490$ per person and recived the recipet from them, its mean my application is going to a approve or approved ?? or no they just ask me to pay the fee only ?


This is what i recived after payment of RPRF fee.

So, this happened to me (except they returned my whole package!). Anyways...what I submitted was my RECORD of marriage, not CERTIFICATE of marriage. I had used the prior one for everything (getting my kids Canadian citizenship certificates, my American citizenship application, etc...) but apparently it wasn't good enough for this application! I didn't even know there was another document to request. My husband ended up calling CIC to clarify that is what they wanted.

If they lost a copy of the receipt then resend a copy of the receipt instead of paying again however due to ur timeline and background has been completed you about to get AIP before dm

However cic would need a copy of marriage certificate for processing... You can call them to clarify

Sorry whats AIP ? and if my bcg is compeletd, would i recived any email from them for approved or decion made or no just they issue ppr ?

Hello!
I just new in the forum. I applied for common law inland on Sep 28.
I just got my medical request last week and still waiting for OWP.
I need advice in something:
I would like to go back home to Spain for 3 weeks as my dad is having a important surgery in January. My visitor visa already has expired.
I would like to know if it would be possible that my partner mail me the open work permit when I get it here in Canada and come back with it? Will I have trouble in the border if my OWP is issued after I leave the country?
