I'm skeptical that in the October thread, this person talks about checking the OWP status on ECAS?! I don't believe that the OWP is able to be seen on ECAS, only the cic account...Hmmm... I just found out that one October 10th applicant got his OWP already. It seems a bit too fast and I am jealous :

Haha, I know LOL... I was skeptical first too but I think he meant to say MyCIC, not eCAS.The October guy is dreaming haha
Unless you have a special medical condition, your physician is obligated to submit the results within 10 days after the exam. This 10 days doesn't count towards the 30 days. For those who have completed their medicals, how long did it take for the doctor to submit it?
My father got the request on Nov 26, we did the complete medical on Dec 7, and the doctor has yet to submit the medical.
Before when i called they were waiting on x-ray and bloodwork results, the next time i spoke to the secretary she said the doctor needs to speak with the radiologist regarding the xray, and when i last spoke this monday she said every thing was all in order and it would be submitted monday afternoon or early tuesday.
I'm starting to get worried as the letter said there were 30 days to do medical. Now is that 30 days to do medical and have submitted or 30 days within the medical should be done?

That is a very good question! How is everyone seeing the exact date that background checks started or medical exams have been passed? I've logged into ECAS and with GCkey and I only see "passed" or "in process" :/
Thank you! I just recently linked my account so it makes sense why I haven’t received email updatesThat is a very good question!
Some of us got email notifications saying "Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your account and check your application status and messages for more information" while others received nothing but discovered the changes on eCAS and GCKey upon checking them on a regular basis.
eCAS only shows if the Medical Result has been received but nothing about BGC or Medical Pass. GCKey shows if they started your background check and if you passed your medical exam.
If you didn't get the emails, it is hard to tell when the updates were done because both tools don't display the dates.
