yes u can apply. but its just a waste of money. ididnt apply for work permit bcasue my lawyer told me not to do just wait till u get ur PR. my situation i got aip april 11 and got landing letter may 27 landed june 8 overall waiting after received aip is 2months but it depends everyone...

i landed at etobicoke yesterday saturday. for those who asking if the service canada is open.... bad news its actually closed on saturday... just letting u know.

no it was never transferred, got aip april 11... then may 9 SA then may 10 DM both , DM letter may 24 , invittion letter 27

When i received my AIP went to service ontario to apply OHIP. The lady told me iwill be eligible for ohip by july 11 i applied may 18. Iwill be landing on june 8 at etobicoke.

Better to apply in person for marriage certificate go to service ontario and when u fill up the form there should be indicating that “Use for Immigration purposes”and try to give them a explanation letter(SO) then they will expedite ur MC.goodluck
