HI everyone,
Our application was received(missisaugua) on Sept 9th- signed by Mailroom Dave..
24th Oct today , still no AOR ...

anyone else with applications received on that date or same week, ??

AORs yet???


I always thought this waiting would b easier than putting the application together, but, men, its killing....

Hey guys , just last night i posted that about not getting any AOR .

Well, Wahla, this morning i checked my Spouse's email , and There it Was...

Next should b the SA.. Waiting Continues....

I have yet to get an Email from CIC acknowledging they have received our visa application. I tried to check on the CIC website, but I don't know if I have the correct address, and when I try it says:

" Please note that some citizenship applicants are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our e-Client Application Status online tool. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you may refer to the processing times web page for an estimate of how long it may take to process your application. Thank you for your patience. "

Am I checking in the correct place? They received the application almost a month ago, but so far nothing.

Hello same here. They receive our app since Sept 2, 2015. No AOR or SA or anything from them. Though ive read that Aug 31 and Sept 1 applicants receive their AOR already. My husband plans to call them on Monday. Praying for positive results.

Quick Question

After getting the first AOR with the UCI and all that, i tried logging in to e-cas but it wont display anything ..
so my question is , how long do i need to wait before i can find our details online ???

People from september are starting to get their AOR this week. So you should get it soon, maybe next week.

Hopefully. Sept 8 applicant got AOR. Getting more paranoid.day by day. I worry too much that they may have lost our app.

I am Sept 9, and i got AOR on 23rd Oct. so if ur Sept 8, u probably should get ur AOR this week , or in any case, count the 63 days mark and if its not exceeded yet, u should b fine..

U should only b worried after 63 days and u don't have anything yet....

Keep Checking ur Spam & Junk Mail, u will get it soon .

Hey everyone,

You can only check your online status once you received the AOR, cause then is when they actually put in the system your file. CIC will send you with the AOR your UCI (for the sponsor) and your Application no (File no).

I was trying before we receive the AOR to log in with the receipt number and my UCI (sponsored person) but it wasn't working. We were apply to log in the day after we received the AOR with the sponsor's UCI & Application no.

Just hang on a few more days

Hey stephy. We plan to call them later today. 54 days for our app. hopefully they will answer us, all we need is the AOR to calm down abit or any acknowledgement that our app is safe and didnt get lost.

Try calling then early in the morning when they open the lines are less busy then.

:-[ CIC is actually slaking lately. They dropped to 63 days from 54 days. 9 freaking days.

Okay so they said. They are processing Aug 17 as stated on their website and we needed to wait for 2 mos before they can check our file. Like wtf! Im on my 55th day of waiting, if ever they lost my file. My 2 mos would be like waiting for nothing.

I don't think that they will lose your file. You have a receipt from your courrier / Canada post that they received it so it would be ok after the 63 days if you don't get an answer I think you can call them and they will have to give you answer to where is your file.
