We finally got our AOR today!!! The application was received on Sept. 11th.

Which Visa office will you be using? Our application was received 11th Sept also. But we haven't received AOR

Our file should be going to the Abu Dhabi visa office. I think they have been sending out the early September AORs this week, dont worry hopefully you will receive it this coming week.

I am confused a bit about logging in to check on status. Apparently the receipt number from when I paid the fees on-line doesn't let me login - I have to use the client #? Is that correct? My confusion is that someone posted they hadn't received their AOR Email (with the client #) but they were able to login and saw their AOR online...?

If my receipt # cannot be used to login and I don't have a client # yet (due to not receiving an Email yet) how can I login?

If the receipt doesnt work or any other choices. It could only mean they havent process your app yet. If You or your wife is a PR status in canada, you can try logging in using the UCI number. If still that doesnt give you access i think its better for you to wait for them to send your client number.

Ah - that's probably it. That person probably had a number due to being a PR. I can't do that as I was born here. ;D

Yeah. Tried using the receipt aswell not working for me too. Husband does not have UCI as well. only choice for update is to call them or any email from cic. 60days and counting

I just wanted to update you that I received SA yesterday (Oct 30). I received an email me that my application was being sent to the Ottawa visa office.

My application was received by CIC on Sept 1 and I received AOR on Oct 16th.

Thats a very good news- Looking @ ur details i noticed, my app was received a week after yours, and also i got my AOR a week after yours... then am guessing i will probably get SA next week... AHAHA Awesome
