One thing that may be good for us Sept folks here is that I'd guess many CIC employees would have been on holidays through June, July, Aug. Lots of people take their vacations in the summer, so hopefully they will be back at full capacity now and it will go quicker for us 8)

And now we wait! Hope to see some progress on SA within 30 days! :)

I have sole parental responsibility by UK law.

Do you have proof of this on paper from a court stating that you have sole custody?

I don't know if it will be an issue or not but If you have court papers stating you have sole custody I don't see any problem arising.

Can I just say who ever create the September Spreadsheet did an Amazing Job. It is set up beautifully! :) :D

In the spreadsheet for September 2014 there is an entry for an August applicant, is there a reason for this?

Some August applicants got their applications returned, they probably completed the forms in late July and sent the applications in August, because there was forms update in August, very unfortunate.

I am aware of that but this entry in the spreadsheet does not mention having application returned, and indeed it says it was received on August 13th.

I added it to the August sheet, so someone can remove it from the September sheet.

Can anyone link me to the ADDRESS CHANGE page? Thanks.

There was a debate earlier about how horrible Canada Post was, and that we should only use UPS or FedEx or DHL, etc.

I sent my immigration package via UPS, and it cost me 150$, and it took 6 days to get there. I just sent a package to my parents, via regular post, and it got there in 5. It cost 40$. Sigh.

We're still waiting. I don't expect to hear any news from CIC until Halloween or so.

Where did you send your package from?
Me personally - I had no trouble using Canada Post to send my application. It was received and signed the next day I sent it :)
