Your Ecas status is "in process" or "decision made" ?

Did you pay the RPRF upfront?

Hi ,

Has anyone tried the FBI approved Channeler route ? That seems to be a pretty faster process .
I have also read on some other threads that CIC does accept those reports .
Just want to confirm if that is possible .

On the FBI website , it states that their procedures are similar to that of FBI :-

"An FBI-approved Channeler simply helps expedite the delivery of Identity History Summary information on behalf of the FBI. The process for making a request through an FBI-approved Channeler is consistent with FBI submission procedures. "

Humble Request..!!

Anyone guide me with GCMS Notes? What is it and what is the help we get from it??

I check my Application on Ecas ..is it different ..!!

and also, anyone knows if someone on close work permit and it is expiring on 30th may 2016. How do we extend it? as till now no news of PPR

7th march paid RPRF and medical was done on 13th feb
Here is the info for GCMS notes, it will give you a break down of what stage your application is in. If the case officer has any issues/concerns with your case or not.

1. Visit https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en
2. Scroll down and check the box "I have read, understood and agree with the above Privacy Notice." and Submit.
3. Select IRCC from the drop down. (first field)
4. Select Individual/Corportation present in Canada (Second drop down)
5. Fill in your details (Self explanatory)
6. Select Member of public for "Select the category that best describes you"
7. select "E-mail" for "How would you prefer to receive the requested records" ( choose the mode you are comfortable with)
8. Continue to next page.
9. You dont need to attach any additional documents, unless you want to prove something.
10. Select Privacy Act in next page
11. Submit the final request. Once you submitted the request, wait for one month.

I got my notes this morning a little earlier than expected. I applied April 1st.

Apply for Bridging Visa, if your closed work permit is expiring at the end of May. Maybe wait a week before, 22nd or so til you apply incase you did get PPR before then. You will need to make sure you apply before May 30th so you can get implied status and continue working. It costs $255 per person i think. If you happen to get PPR before you get your BOWP approved, then you will get the fee ($255 refunded). Here is the link:

How long did it take you to get Decision Made/passport request after you submitted RCMP Criminal Record Check?

I have my record check to be sent to CIC in Ottawa directly from RCMP this month
