Hello Friends,

Have a question, I am trying to apply for open work permit extension online. I have job based on open work permit already.
So when I select Yes for "Do you have a Job offer?" it asks for LMIA which I never had and then when I say No to LMIA it says not eligible.

When I select No to Job offer, it allows me to extend. Is it OK to select No and go ahead to submit extension ?

I did the medical upfront yesterday and interestingly enough I got medical request today.

I was wondering if I need to do anything about it? Do I need to contact the clinic so they can add the IME no they into the document they are already preparing?

If the medical center is equipped with e-medical, they will send your results to CIC in 3 days; otherwise, it may takes 1 to 2 weeks. What you can do at this point, just send CIC the receipt of your medical exam which shows you've done that.

You should also see the ecase updated 3 days after the clinic sends it to CIC

if you send cic your results they would be on a new ime created by the medical center. try calling them and tell hem u got request and if they can switch over ur results to the ime sent by cic.. if they cant then just tell cic you already did upfront. and attach ur report

So not safe to assume that ECAS will get updated in any number of days.

No worries, it varies for different people to see the update on eCase. So to be safe just contact them

I did Medical since last month and no update in my ECAS yet, I called cic customer service and they said they have it. But nothing yet ever since

and also, anyone knows if someone on close work permit and it is expiring on 30th may 2016. How do we extend it? as till now no news of PPR

7th march paid RPRF and medical was done on 13th feb

Yesterday I got an email from CPC Ottawa to verify my home address.
The COPR is on the way to me! ;D

Got my GCMS notes today, a few days earlier than expected. I applied on April 1st. Looks like case officer has no concerns on eligibility with work experience and criminality/medical has been set to passed! There is a due date of tomorrow, 04/28. Got RPRF request on April 4th and paid that evening. However, my ECAS is still in process and medical isn't even on there so i'm not checking it. Hoping COPR is in the post any day now!
