Hi Friends, My brother is studying for his PTE exam to apply for a college in Toronto. I confirmed on various college websites that PTE is acceptable for proof of English language proficiency. Is it acceptable by CIC for study permit? Is it even required as part of his study permit application?

I got my BOWP approval letter in MyCIC today. It was applied on Aug 29, 2016.

I'm still waiting for my 2nd BOWP applied on Aug 29th. Called CIC and they said it is in progress and sent a note to VO. Also got a new due date of May 2017 for PR. These dates doesn't give any hope. I'm glad my spouse is coming to Toronto next month on SOWP.
