That doesnt make any difference. Even i have a representative. Cic processes file on their sweet time they dont care abt emails from reps. If they did im sure they wudve processed most of the fils as many ppl have been trying to communicate with them. Its just time for aug applicants i think.

Most non-second review August 5 applicants have already received MR, some received PPR and some completed the landing process.

It was about time he got his MR, with or without a representative, seeing the recent progress with August 11 files.

My assumptions was also same..I was thinking till Aug 11 people got MR & CIC stopped processing after that..

Any ways it's good news.. Adding representative doesn't help since one of my close family friend is doing that job & she clearly told me they don't have any advantage & the only tool they use is Case specific query once you are beyond their normal processing time.

I Agree. I also have a lawyer that is taking care about my paperwork. CIC it's just following its timeline no matter how many times you call or get in touch with them.

Hi ALL,

PR applied on : 19-Sep-2014
AOR on : 2-Feb-2015
Got married after PR application, Added my wife to PR application in June 2015. Paid processing fee for wife as well.
Old work permit expired on : 04-sep-2015
New BOWP and SOWP approved on : 17-Oct-2015, with expiry date as 17-Oct-016.
I came to India on 18-Nov-2015 and applied for TRV for both me and my wife based on our BOWP and SOWP. Received the TRV for both of us successfully as per New WP expiry dates (i.e. 17-Oct-2016).

But after I applied for TRV in India, when I checked the status for my PR application in ECAS.
Address has been changed automatically from My Canadian address to Indian address i have given in TRV application. It is still showing my Indian address in ECAS.
I will be going back to Canada in First week of Jan 2016.
So Should i inform or change the address back to my Canadian address only after I have gone back to Canada.
Or should I change it now itself as i don't see any progress happening in this month.

Please Advise Or sugggest

I will change my address to Canadian address as suggested by some members in this Thread.

I have one more question , I have done Upfront medicals for this TRV application in India.
I have sent the same medicals to CPC-CTD-ottawa@vcic.gc.ca to accept the same medicals for my PR application.
I have sent the mail on 23-Nov-2015, but i haven't got the reply till now.

The automated email i got has "we are only able to respond to case-specific inquiries and the service standard is 20 working days."

Should I wait for 4 more days and send another mail or call CIC.

Please advise.

Hi Guys,

I applied for PR under CEC last year in September 2014 but except AOR nothing so far and i have also created EE profile and sitting at more than 400 points and recently i re created my profile for OINP Human capital stream and got PT also now i am thinking whether i should go for OINP NP or not and i have 45 days to apply. so what do you guys think is their any chance of getting MR in the month of January 2016 for Sep applicants or it will take more time.

I am thinking of collecting documents and wait till the last minute before i send it to OINP.

Seems CIC has started Aug files although with snail pace . Stay positive we are next. At this current trend we should expect something in the month of Feb 2016.

According to my last gcms notes that i have just received couple of days ago, the due date is actually feb 2, 2016.
So, yea we should be getting something around February.

@Canadababu

I also applied for PR in August 2014 and would like to add my wife to my PR application, could you please share what was the process/documents required for adding spouse to pr application. Also do you know if the spouse gets the PR at the same time as primary applicant or CIC process spouse application seperately?

Hey
The due dates do not matter at all. They keep them for reminder purposes.
I've known people having due dates in Feb this year and their files are the same till now.

LMAO
I have the same application date. It shouldn't be surprising that we don't hear anything in Feb 2016. In fact, I doubt if old CEC can be finalized in 2016 at all. Even if we get MR it could be months to year to finalize application after MR.

Applied to the correct category at wrong time, this is how I conclude it.

Hi Guys,

Does anybody know where to send the upfront medical acknowledgement. I received a sheet with UMI# on it from doctor and I need to send it to CIC. The results will be sent by my doctor in 5-7 days. I just need the email address. And what information do I need to provide in that email.

Thanks
