I got my AOR today, January 19th!
Application received at CIO on September 5th.
Now off to apply for BOWP. What a relief!
Good luck to all who are still waiting for AORs.

i just looked threw my forms i forgot to enter my UCI number so stupid i no. would they still send my AOR before the send it back to me. Super stressed now need to apply for BOWP by 10 Feb

As per rule if they find your form incomplete they return the package. However you may get lucky in case you get a kind reviewer who catches your mistake and is considerate enough to look for your UCI number from your passport (They can fetch ur entire history from ur passport details and you would then thank your stars you did not forget to enter your passport number )

Just call your bank and verify if the payment was deducted against your draft . If yes then you are safe and need not worry . Good luck

quick question here - If CIC takes the money (CC,Money order, Bank Draft ....) after they receive the application, what does that mean ?

that application was completed and good to process ahead ? what all checks they do before actually deducting the money ?

If CIC takes our money, it means we are going to get our AOR. The AOR is just like a receipt you'll receive when you go buy something from a shop. There should be no delay from when they take our money to giving us the AOR. And it used to be like that. They would send out AORs the same day they charged credit cards and the longest it took them was 1 week. God knows what's taking them SO DAMN LONG this time.

Perhaps they took our money so that they could go on a long vacation somewhere nice and warm before coming back to send out AORs. 8)

There are many in SEP 2014 list who are charged and waiting for the AOR, I am one of them. lets hope should get that soon.

Today, i was able to see my E-CAS (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/ECAS.jsp) .

its showing "In process". Please update into spreadsheet.

I applied my PR from Canada and now i have returned to my home country. I received my AOR last week,
shall i update my communication address to my current address immediately? And how can i do that online or send email to CIC.

I only have one question what could possibly go wrong as my draft got encashed on Nov 13? :

Even I thought that AOR is just a receipt of the application fees that we paid.

AOR is not just. It is important to get because that is the confirmation from CIC that your application is accepted and put into processing queue.
