Hey guys,

Do you think that it may take more than 200 days to receive med requests since now CIC has bigger backlogs?

Applicants from April 2014 had their AOR after around 25 days and their med results after 200 days, but applicants from end of May had to wait 40 days for AOR and 230 days for meds. I see that September applicants get their AOR's after 130 days, so would it mean that med requests may be also delayed by extra 100 days?

For those whose AOR should haven been issued but are afraid that there's a problem with their email address or didn't provide an email address and Canada Post may have lost the letter, you can try login in here (the ECAS link provided by miglop2014..for some reason i can't post the link) with the UCI number. Although it takes a couple of days to update (it says that it's usually updated on Tuesdays). For example mine isn't yet there but I've received the AOR already.

I have checked my application on the link provided and seems like my application is in process. The problem is that I have not received the AOR email. Does that mean that CIC has messed up my e-mail address? If so, does anyone know how I can figure this out? I am worried I would not receive any future communications from CIC.

Call cic with your UCI number and they'll give you the application number. Do it first thing in the morning (8am) if you don't want to wait for a long time.

Thanks, I will do that first thing tomorrow. However, the other thing I am worried about is that any future additional information (such as MR/police check/ etc...) they will need from me will definitely NOT reach me due to the e-mail mess up.

Maybe they can change it on the phone. If not, just google how to make changes on your permanent residence application.

Hi,

I am in the process of applying for my WP which is due to expire this month end. Myself and my family have been in Canada for the past 2 yrs (which meets the 1st criteria) but we have not stayed in any of the designated Countries for more than six months (does not meet the 2nd criteria). So let me know if i need to choose Yes or No for the below question (my guess is NO only but wanted to reconfirm)

"Is your family member staying in Canada for more than 6 months AND has lived in one or more designated countries or territories for more than six months in the last year? Your family member's stay starts on the day they entered Canada and ends on the day they want to leave Canada"

I think you can wait until EOD today to receive AOR.

I did it on Jan 6 2015. I guess they will reply in 30 days. :'( I double checked with TD and my draft was encashed on 13 Nov.
