Also i have one query - i applied my pcc on July 2014 and received august 2014. Yesterday i received my aor.can i send same pcc now.i guess 1 year validay normally for any pcc. Please advise.

I think you need to get new one since it is been 5 months already.

Yea just send it .. and if they come back u can always email cpc guys about the issue. they took my friends expired pcc cos he had not visited india since he got it.

NO call centre people will always give u mixed answers. A PCC is always valid for 6 months to 1 year . and since uve finished only 5 months and u got ur AOR.. quickly mail it our physicallt to CPC_CTD Ottawa guys before it crosses into february

Read above messages so that you will understand the applicants are getting AOR's whose application received on 8th Sep. So you will have to wait until Jan end to receive yours. Do you still have a feeling of getting HT? You must see doctor

Hi Friends,

My app received at CIC on Sep 8th and got AOR on 21st Jan. I have applied for my wife's PCC after i sent my application and received the same sometime during Oct 1st week.

In AOR email, they mentioned that do not send any document until they request it. Now i am thinking about validity of my wife's PCC and when to send.

But, as per CIC guideline specifies, The Police Check certificate must have been issued no more than three (3) months prior to submitting your application.

It means i am assuming that it is valid as per the regular validity of 1 year as my wife's PCC received after my application submitted.

Please correct me if my assumption is wrong....
