Varun how are you coming to this conclusion of August 2015. From Jun 2014 to Jan 2015 is 7 months .. Sep 2014 to Aug 2014 is 11 months.
So logically we can expect MR in April

I agree with you. We should get the MR request by April End or May First.

Winterfox - you are assuming that CIC will be able to process*(by process I mean get to the point of sending med.requests) our applications within 7 months, but we can see that April applicants got their AOR's and med. requests faster than June applicants. And it looks like the backlog is growing every day:

  • April applicants: 25 days to get AOR & 200 days to get Medical Request
  • June applicants: 40 days to get AOR & 230 days to get Medical Request (15 days more for AOR than April applicants & 30 days more for Meds)
  • September applicants: 130 days to get AOR (105 days more for AOR than April applicants, so I guess it would mean that we will also have to wait at least 100 days longer for med.requests, what gives 300 days in total.. = July 2015 :(

Please guys correct me if my calculations are wrong.

That's what we are all hoping will not happen. I hope they will speed things up somehow and make our total processing time to be around the same as past applications despite the SUPER long delay in giving out AORs.

Just 2 days ago they seemed to be working on full throttle, 8 people got AORs but since yesterday it has slowed down again. Why the inconsistency in their output?? This is getting so frustrating. Another week gone and still no AOR.

Great work. But there's inconsistency in their work. There are many people who got AOR or medical before the later applicants.
Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Why would they speed things up for us? They'll take their own sweet time. It may be urgent for us and we may have deadlines for work permits etc., but these are not the issues for them!

So the only concern that i'm having is - with new EE they promise to give you an answer within 6 month. However they still have a huge backlog from 2014. Do you think that they will just start skipping this backlog and start working on the new applications from EE - they really need to show that the new system is working
