I was quite worry about not having received my AOR yet.

I sent it on September 15 , not sure when they received it because did not use confirmed mail but I am guessing max 10 days , I am in Montreal.

assuming it got there around the 25th september, and according to your tracker.. I guess I should get the AOR within the next two weeks.

Question

1 ) When will it show on the "online check status site"? when they mail it or when I get the AOR at home?

2) what is next? assuming the application is complete. What would a reasonable time to fully complete the process?

As you may already know, I also applied for BOWP and I was still waiting for a decision. Today I received an extension of my work permit instead of my BOWP, which I did not apply for neither I had LMIA! But there you go, better than nothing. They figured a way to keep me around instead of sending me back to my country. This is a great relief for me! Now I can relax and wait for AOR and apply for BOWP again when the time comes.

The downside is that I'm going to end up paying the fees for the permit twice.
I have updated the BOWP sheet.

Do u mean ur WP WAS xtended for 6 months ??
And was it employer specific or open - when was ur cc charged ?
And did u applied for same employer or new employer ?

Good morning. Just a quick question. What happened to those applicants( example applicants 4,6,12...) in the spreadsheet who never received AOR's yet.
I mean for those people who didn't receive even after current turnaround time ( approx 140 days). Feel sorry for them. Did any of them heard from CIC yet ?

Hi calling CIC is not use as this job of giving AOR is done at CIO nova scotia. You would either need to email them or physically mail them ur cover letter explaining ur situation. They dont have a fone number. I'd suggest physically mail them cos email they are replying in 30 days

I would suggest to wait for this week to end. Hopefully you will get your AOR by this week or early next week. Just a bit more patience. We are almost there. My application was also received on 15th September and no AOR yet.

Relax buddy.

When did your debit take place ? Right now, people whose account debit happened around 19th November are getting AOR.

BTW, I am focusing on the debit date rather than what date my application was received. So according to that, though my application was received on 10th September, my debit happened on 5th December. Chill !

Same situation as urs. I am hoping to get AOR by end of this week..

Yes, extended but not even for six months. Just until May. I applied for a BOWP, new employer (sent to unit 555). They gave me this instead. I feel thankful! They could have refused my BOWP but gave me an extension instead. Probably because I was in implied status. But again I didn't include a LMIA because I didn't have it.
