Wait a sec! How are people who are applying under express entry don't have this hold?! This is outrageous

Got a reply from MPs office in less than 1 day. They asked to sign some consent forms and will inquire on my behalf soon. Hoping CIC will take some action after ministerial impact.

They take consent to represent you. Hopefully your mp will hear some good news . God bless all of us

MP's office came back to me in less than 1 day (actually 8 hrs for whole process).

They advised my file is in background check by a third party. CIC advised them they don't have an ETC on background check as it is out of their control. MP's office advised me to wait for 3 months. If I don't hear back from them, they will inquire again.

I'm expecting GCMS on July 25, I will then decide if I will reapply for 2nd BOWP and SOWP.

What does Background check mean.. Criminality, Security or RCMP ? i mean how do you know background checks are done in GCMS?

It should say pass under each sub-activity. I confirm my RCMP and Criminality were done as per past GCMS in March 2016. Security was started in May.

In my GCMS notes, I have two consecutive sub activities under Security that are removed. I am guessing
1. not started - In progress
2. In progress - complete

File location apparently moved from RFV Check to PACE

Does anybody knows what PACE means?
