You can if it will not be a financial burden to you at this time but benefit to not doing it now would be when you get the request you would know your file is being actively processed.

With these updates on receiving MRs, I am starting to doubt if I should apply to EE too and spend $1100 (me+wife)
My medical is done upfront for EE.

Forum members - I did an upfront medical on 6th Jan 2016 but till now the ECAS status is not updated and i do not see a third line. What is the minimum number of days CIC takes to update the status ?

Note: I am a Sept 15, 2014 applicant got my AOR on 30th Jan 2015.

Just send an email to CPP you can find the email template in this forum itself somewher @196th page....
You will receive an confirmation mail in couple of days and then within a week it will get updated in ecas....thats how it happend to me

My wife and I am going to do upfront medical once we both done upfront where do i need to send the email of the medical receipt, also if you share the sample format to write the email and do i need to mentioned CIC that i did upfront medical?

send a scanned copy of the receipt, which has your medical file number, to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

put your file number in the subject line and in the email body include - full name, date of birth, application number, class of application, UCI number and that the attached are your upfront medicals and request them to attach it to your file.

you might get a response from them, but don't worry if you don't (they will take a while to update your file). i would suggest to send this email a few days after your doctor has updated the results (check with your doc)

Hello everyone, i noticed that some of you mentioned "the 3rd line" regarding to medical results received. I haven't received MR and I haven't done the upfront. Below is my lines as shown at CIC application status. I wonder anyone else has the same? Did you guys have 2 lines only before MR?
