This is what happens when new users appear out of nowhere with updates.

anyone who is readying silently, just introduce yourself so there is no speculations later on

Hello everybody. Does anybody have experience in requesting notes from abroad? I am presently in the UK and it looks like only applicants residing in Canada can request notes. Please advise. Apologies if this has already been asked elsewhere. I looked around, but could not get much information. Your input will be appreciated. Thanks.

You can definitely apply, but need pay about $5 in my memory, not sure if changed recently, why not give a call to CIC to get some answer about their latest policy since their website always have some error currently.

I just think two things maybe it is CIC's trick .

do you remember lots of June application jumped , they start July directly in batch mode .

now they jump to Sep , and many later Aug cases left .

I think it can really help improve the average processing time.

because the not started case will not be counted finished, so they have not process time .

if they start Sep , the process time will shrink 1-2 months than process Aug case.

Or they love just English this time. anyway, they needn't explain anything , especially they promised "first come first service "

Thanks yixiaop26. I am fine with paying the $5. But the website states that getting the notes is only possible if you reside in Canada. I went through the process of filling out the form and there was a page in which I was asked to upload an address proof to show that I was residing in Canada. Although I can upload a copy of my driving license, I am afraid to use it since I am not in Canada. I will try calling the call center and see if I get any further information.

you cannot apply it yourself.

if you have any known person/friend in canada, you can authorize him/her to order the notes on your behalf. when you go through the process there is an authorization form that you need to fill out, date and sign. then the canadian resident will be receiving the notes in their email address.

please do not do it yourself. you can contact some immigration lawyer in canada to order the notes for you.

If you don't know anyone then you can use some third party services, but they charge around $30.

My upfront medicals got updated in ECAS as "Medicals Received" ... Happy to see 3rd line...
Now waiting for RPRF :)

Hi cecslave,

Congratulations...for getting MR.
Since CIC jumped to Sep 15 directly from Aug so asking couple of questions
(1) Have you taken any representative for your application?
(2) What is your NoC Code?
I am also Sep 15 applicant & eagerly waiting CIC email, refreshing email in every 5 min ...
