I have tried to call CIC multiple times. Each time I get the same answer that it is a mandate for them and they cannot provide any status information

Are they really helping with the UCI number?

Don't ask for the status, just ask directly for your UCI. I was able to get mine during my fourth attempt.

Try calling CIC and ask directly for your UCI, so that you can check your status through ECAS. It won't
be easy to get it as there are agents who would easily turn your request down but just keep on
trying.

What to give as a reference when we call?

Like when i call my bank i hive them credit card no. Or account no. To identify myself.....

When we ask for UCI to agent what reference shd we give? PASSPORT no.? application reached date?

Same problem yesterday too...I asked for UCI and they asked me under which category. The moment I said FSW, they just mentioned it is a mandate and they do not have an update. Asked me to send an email to CIC

CC charge : 25 nov.

No PER/NER till date.
