I received the UCI number from the agent finally. However, it does not retrieve any information while searching. Does CIC keep the status updated only when the documents are actually being processed? Does it say anywhere "document received" using the UCI id? If yes, kindly share the link

Same problem yesterday too...I asked for UCI and they asked me under which category. The moment I said FSW, they just mentioned it is a mandate and they do not have an update. Asked me to send an email to CIC :(

I have tried to call CIC multiple times. Each time I get the same answer that it is a mandate for them and they cannot provide any status information :( Are they really helping with the UCI number?

When you call CIC to ask for your UCI, what is the reference number to be provided? Is it passport no, or anything else?

After the documents are sent to CIC and they receive it on a specific date....is there any communication seny by post/courier/email from CIC or the Visa office before this PER email comes to our inbox? Just want to make sure I have not missed out anything :(
