September applicants, try to stop worrying about your file whether CC charge or PER. Obviously, CIO has been unpredictable these past few weeks (especially on CC charges). But one thing I noticed is that the average days of PER being received does not move at most. Safe to say that the 120 day grace period before starting to worry should still apply to many. Just compute your 120 days from the date received and try not to be paranoid about your application until then. Send an enquiry on the 70th day and you will receive a status update on 120th. PER might appear before that but at least you have a future update covered.

I agree to your suggestion and i'm practising that. Worrying only brings sleepless nights and does not make CIC work faster. Haha..

Hi KSA,

I am 3rd july applicant, i got my PER on 28th october, but i havent got my medical yet. Mine is NDVO. While some one who got PER on 5th november got his medical.do you know what could be the reason.

Cases differ and as such you will receive your medical request soon.
You might be experiencing delay,if you have travel history please.
Other factors can also cause delay because of verification please.

Mine app date is 19/09/2014, DD encashment will be hopefully very near, between 2-3 days from now.

Maybe, maybe not..there is no set pattern. What's your NOC? I'm a sept applicant also, 9th, NOC 1111, DD. No news yet, I am taking it one day at a time.

I want to believe that CC and DD are two different ball games.
I think DDs are taken in batches to be encased.
And we DDers might not have the same unpredictable issues with the CCers.
Not sure though...

There are as many assumptions as many we the DDers are, we can see there is no criteria even for CC and NOC. CIO is working on their criteria which is changing quite frequently so wait and see is the best we can do.

Iam a 11sep applicant, cc not charged. Its been 87 days now. On SS i see a 5th sep applicant got his cc charged on 5th dec i.e 91 days. Really tensed write now, as per bank there have been no charging attempts made. Should i start preparing for a new application or should i wait?
