Yes I was able to tract that they received it Sept 24th. We mailed it from USA. I picked London as Visa processing office. I am not sure if they will send it there as my wife is also a permanent resident of USA but a British Citizen. I hope they send it to UK cos I heard it is faster.. thoughts?

I've added you to our spreadsheet. Are you both living in the US right now? I think if you chose London office for processing that would mean in case they ask your wife for an interview she needs to fly to London.

I am living in the USA. My wife who I am sponsoring just moved to Canada on TWP for 6 months. She is willing to fly to London for interview.

Is London still taking ~ 6-10 months?

If Medical expires before PR, do you have to redo it? - Xray et al?

As far as I know they are able to extend medicals for another year if the visa will be issued only a couple of month after the medicals expired. Guess we all have to wait and see since right now it doesn't look like any processing will be done under a year with the backlog they collected through the 4 months of strike.

I hope that does not delay it for a long time. I noticed that AOR stage 1 is approved faster from your spreadsheet.

At least London is issuing COPR's. From what I observe in the Vienna spreadsheet nothing is happening ... no COPR since December 2012 ... at least no COPR for any forum member.

So are you a PR of a Canada? I am not sure but my thoughts are if you are sponsoring your wife, the visa office is decided by the person being sponsored citizenship not the sponsors.

His wife is British that's why London is the Visa office for processing the applicant part of the application.

Welcome to the september club! Give the AOR more time. In my case, I didn't get an AOR, just an SA directly.

Sponsorship Approval, at this point CPC Mississauga is done with their assessment of the sponsor, and forwards your file to your Visa Office for assessment of the applicant (the person being sponsored).
