It does work for me however it just shows "Application Received."

I think it worked during the second or 3rd day after I got my SA, so give it a few days.

Based on the other pages of this forum, it's going to be stay at that status for a LONG time (several months). So this online tracking is not of much help, its best to just wait for the emails.

Some visa offices do, but not all. My wife's visa office (new Delhi) doesn't seem to send AOR's they directly ask for the passport.

But yet no AOR or SA email ! Sad ! Anyone else have the same problem? I am using NEW DELHI visa office.

So, please tell me this is positive or negative for my application means my application is approved or not ?

i believe that's already your AOR/SA, its a confirmation that they've get your application... that's good for you...

You application is very encouraging [DM in a months time] to me, but it is also very perplexing. I thought that SA had to be complete before it is sent to India. I think you can contact CPC-M and get the status of your SA.

Also, where did you get the ID number from if they have not contacted you yet?

I really don't know about the process, I've never heard of a DM coming so early, so I guess you will have to wait for the letter and let us know. Good luck to you!

Sorry, just checked my online application. The decision is made regarding your sponsor, not the applicant. I just checked my online status and it also shows the same thing (DM for sponsor, and the date they emailed me the letter).

Maybe you put the wrong email or it got lost in your spam folder. I did not get an AOR, but I did get the SA.

my husband got the SA today el7 (2-10-2013) by email which is super fast

they provide us with UCI and application number so we can check the status online but it doesnt work dont know why
does anyone who got AOR or SA been able to check his ecas?

Congratulations! Hope my wife gets her SA soonish ... hope everything is alright with our application since it was received by CIC-M at the same date as yours

I just discovered that I am able to log into eCAS now using my wife's data.

I would say stay positive, my status says the same thing and my SA was approved. I don't think you need to worry.

By the way, how did you check your status if you don't have a file/UCI number?

It doesn't necessarily mean they're not working on it. I receive SA on the 24th and ECAS hasn't been updated. It says the same as yours.
