In Generic Application Form for Canada Question 4 (Immigration office requested for processing this application),

which office should one mention?

Can some one confirm;

I have all forms and supporting documents ready. However one of my pc's will have 3 months on september 24th. So If required I will have to sent my (re)applicationat least a week before that date.

Yes, do that. Submit that PCC and if CIC by the time they process your application requires
a newer one, they'll request it and you can submit later.

yes, you can always send PCC after getting AOR. I dont think it effects the application processing time

Sure does, to some degree, as CIC has to wait for new PCC. But PCC is not required to be sent along
with the initial application.
There won't be any issues sending it later.

Not really. I received notes which were printed on 29th july 2013. Which make me sure that my file is close to rejection just waiting for final mail.
GCMS which were generated
work exp: NOC 2113 Geophysicist for XXX from 2012/02/21 to 2012/10/11. Duties conform to NOC. Also same position in XXXX from 2011/07/04 to 2012/02/14. Duties confirm to NOC. App recieved on 31st October 2012. Also declare NOC 4122 as RA for University of XXXX. from sep 2008 to May 2011. Duties confirm to NOC. Letter also states that PA was concurrently in school and FOSS details verify the authorization to study. Letter doesnot appear to make any difference between studies and RA. Evidence insufficient to consider tenure as RA to be work ex. instead of studies. Credential granted on 2011/10/11. Eligibility period under student stream appears to be less than one year. Supporting docs appears to be insufficient to demonstrate one year work exp under NOC code...


My new documents are added to file on 6th August, but few members of this forum got rejected becoz their updated documents were not considered to I am not expecting much

Yes, reading the notes sounds like the application will be returned. As VO will assess your application
based on the information you provided in your initial application.

Hi all,

I just received one letter of reference from my past employer. There are some issues with that letter:

1. Letter doesn't show my total annual salary plus benefit in that position. I work few months at the end of 2011 and several month in 2012. Can I include my ROE as a support document for this missing part ?

2. My salary at that time was $13/h. The letter states that it was $14/h. This is another mistake. Will this little discrepancy affect my application ? ( I plan to include some pay stubs and all of them show I got pay $13/h )

Should I ask my employer for another letter ? I already asked for revise one time and any new request may irritate him.


Please give me some suggestions !

I would write a little post-it note with the changes you want. Ask him to update it, and
press that accuracy in that letter is very important. He'll understand.
