If you haven't had your application package in the mail so far, you'll get the AOR soon. :)

Anyone else applied for BOWP? We only have three BOWP applications on the spreadsheet so far. :)
The users who've already applied are: bhopali, cinderella and MLD84.
If you've also applied and want your case added to the spreadsheet use the update-form to submit the
details about your BOWP application.

Have you read the website at all?!
If you have, you should've come across that part,

All CEC applications will be considered according to the date they are received at the CIO.

That should answer your question, right?

Hi All

I have submitted the application for my BOWP. Fingers crossed. I must get it. Otherwise I have to leave Canada. Pray for me friends.

When did you submit your application?? And was it online or paper?

Hi Toby

I had applied on Friday (8th November, 2013) and it was Online application. There was no check point on current work permit validity as few threads mentioned. We can apply for BOWP online even with more than 4 months validity. However there was a place holder to fill your current status end date.

Thanks & regards,
Kunishsa

Just received my AOR.
First hurdle crossed. Good start to the day ;D

If I have understood it correctly from previous threads, after receiving AOR we need to wait between 2-8 Month for MR.
Experts: Is there anything that can be completed in between to reduce overall elapsed time e.g Pay "The Right of Permanent Residence fee"?

Cheers

1. You can do Up-front medicals.
2. You can make Up-front payments for RPRF.

BUT... a lot of people had issues with it. Especially with up-front medicals.
Some times they don't reach CIC on time.
Some times they struggle to 'connect' it to your application, thus it gets lost.
Some times you have very little time to land, before your visa expires.

If money is not an issue (in the case you have to do it again later), you can do Up-front medicals.
There is nothing wrong with it.
