So now the next move is BWP.... would it be wiser to apply for it in early december or right away? My WP expires in february 2014.

Thanks!!!

I don't think it matters, Jalex23. The BOWP lasts a full year from issue, by which time you should have your PR status granted. I guess waiting a while longer could be seen as playing it extra safe, but personally I would just get it done.

Same for you, if you want your case on the spreadsheet, follow the link above and I'll add it for you. Yes, if you can already login that means the AOR is on the way.

Hmmm, yeah... I guess I'll do it over the weekend.

So just go through normal "Extend Your Stay in Canada as a Worker" will suffice? BTW usually when I do this they ask "do you have a LMO" no I don't and I have never needed it (IT didn't need one at least 3 years ago). I answer yes to continue (if not it just kicks me out), but what to do in this case when submitting my paperwork? Should I open a thread to discuss this?

Thanks a lot for the input!!

It's only for us to keep track of applications. Like processing times and stuff.

Still can't get on ECAS :-\

Can anyone able to login please let me know whether I have to put a dash '-' in the UCI or not? :)

Thanks

BOWP processing times reduced again to 21 days.

You don't need an LMO for BOWP applications. This thread probably answers all your questions...http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/tips-for-a-successful-bowp-application-t147650.0.html

Your wife has to apply for an open work permit, not a BOWP. It's just a different name, same application tho.

Yes, I'm getting the same message. AOR received 2 days ago, I'll wait for another 2-3 days and see what happens.
If I don't get in, I'll hit up CIC.

Hey guys,

I am able to log onto ECAS now, and it says application received Sept 9. Does this mean I should be getting an AOR in the mail? I always thought that I provided an email address but evidently not :/
Is there any way to show the AOR on ECAS?

Thanks everyone!
