DelhiGuy,
You will likely get through the 1st Stage approval and perhaps CIC will be fine with it. Or during In Process - Stage its depends on CaseWorker

Thank you for the reply Sreenath.

That's what I am hoping too. Do you think I'll hear for the 1st stage approval before new years ? My application was received on 13th November. Please advise.

Thank you,
CL

Hi p_sreenath,

(a) I emailed the receipt without filling any information. I did not read that as a requirement, but the email that I sent had Application number in the subject and other details as content of my email. I also attached the email I received from CPP-O requesting the RPRF
(b) Based on input from other forum members, I also posted (canada post) the receipt along with the printed email that I received from CPP-O. In the printed version of the receipt, I filled out all information (but did not sign).

I agree, it's better to put the information down, but I am not sure about signature, but no harm doing it, since you haven't sent it out yet. I was just wondering if it's required, or just something that may be better to do.

thanks,
amdee

A few comments:

1) You should definitely fill in all the fields
2) You don't have to sign if there's no signature field, but it can't hurt
3) Scanning and sending via email to CPP-O should be enough, but it can't hurt sending via mail as well

My eCAS status just changed to "Decision Made" with the line "4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.".

Fingers crossed!

Wow, good news!

You might have said this before - apologies if you have! Which physician did you use? where are you located? Seems they updated ecas very quickly for you!

Not got mine yet, but given others who 'started processing' a day before me, got theirs today, I'm hoping by tomorrow.

Wondering what happens over the holiday period. Hopefully if our case officer is on vacation, someone else will take their cases on for that time. We'll see!

I used the cheapest one I could find in Vancouver although there were others that could see us sooner.

This doctor is a specialist handling only PR medical requests. I can PM you the exact name if you would like.

That's ok - I'm based in the GTA. While I'm willing to travel to someone that can fit us in quickly and upload it fast, Vancouver is it a bit of a stretch :-)

I can't stop watching my e-mails, lol. As soon as I get it, I'll be on the phone to book an appointment. Decided not to call before it, as I don't want to be restricted with them insisting on the number on the form as some people get. Want my options to be open.

Graham.

ta2, Congtaz! Did you send your passport? When?
