This is literally exactly what mine says.

By correspondences I mean AOR, RCMP check, confirmation of RCMP reciept. So actually three not four!

No, I never bother to do it since it won't change the speed at which the application is processed. People always tell me to do it, maybe I should stop being stubborn and request it

Yeah it takes like 20 seconds beginning to end. I think it's worth getting because, if you notice there's a chance you might get rejected, you can go ahead and fill out all your forms/order PCC ahead of time to prepare for the worst.

My GCMS as of July 23 says:

Eligibility: In progress (Recommend Passed in the Eligibility section)
Criminality: In Progress
Security: Not Started
Medicals: Not Started

It would say "In Progress" for Security, not "Not Started" then...or do they forgo the "In Progress" step for Security?

Mind you, I'm Arab. I'm one of those guys who fall in that cavity search bracket at the airport...

I haven't seen anyone's GCMS notes say in progress for security. From what I know, for GCMS that whole section is removed

Yes, I have applied for the notes at the end of July. I am still waiting for it to recieve. As most of the september intakes are getting their MR's, I am just wondering whats going with my file. Cant stand the anticipation of rejection/approval anymore.

You are right....GCMS notes would not contain details on security, as this is completed by CSIS independently and not released as a public record, that is, to you. The scope of these checks is for terrorism, organized crime, international criminality and so forth. Implications are of national security concern and would not be published. From what I understand, CSIS doesn't even give CIC full details, but rather report a positive or negative result.

This all of course depends on how extensively they must dig. Your travel history, membership in organizations, service records and so forth, could all contribute to longer waits, if your dossier is extensive.

Progress! My heart is pounding. Haven't heard anything since medicals received on June 20, but tonight, got an email asking for biodata and RPRF Fee.

Heart is pounding! I had given up hoping this would happen soon.

Modified to add: I suppose I should not get too crazy with eagerness. The email asking for biodata also says, "This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose." So maybe they are still reviewing something about our medical information? I did apply for GCMS a few weeks ago but never heard anything.

Applicants who got MR by May receiving PR requests only this month.
Will they start background / security checks only after MR ?
