This isn't correct. Email is sent for Acknowledgement of Receipt. There is no email for being In Process

Its a long and dull process but it has to be done. You fill out every absence from Canada - look at travel records, passport stamps, receipts etc etc. You need it to be as accurate as possible as it will only cause delays later on if they thinking you are lying or not including everything

Yes it's fine. However, you should look at timelines in the tracker for your area and look at processing times and dates as that will give you an idea if you will be called for a test - you should try to avoid having to reschedule that.
