They lost your FBI records? Wow! I thought they expired but now I don't even know what to expect. Losing my police records would be huge to me as I had to submit records from other countries that were so hard to get.
Sheesh!

It seems like they lose stuff left and right.

My husband(who is in Canada) told me that our lawyer called him yesterday to say that she spoke to,immigration that our application has been accepted and we should receive the COPR within the next weeks..but NOTHING has changed on ecas..does it make sense?? The COPR is suppose to be send to my address in Sweden. I was planning on flying to Canada next week..I never thought this immigration thing will get to me like..it is very frustrating.

Well, my status online has changed to say, "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." Extremely excited, anxious and nervous all at the same time!

Any idea if the COPR is typically emailed (basically all other communication has been email) or mailed through the Post?

Sounds great! I think the decisions are actually mailed. I am currently waiting for mine as well. Good luck!!!

If they would need more info or whatsoever, do they ask for it now or before it goes in process on ECAS? Can somebody update me on the spreadsheet?

They can still ask for information after it goes in process.

Sure, as soon as you receive your visa. :) Or have you already?

Our application was received by CPC-M today ! I'm the sponsored person and I'm bound for Quebec. I think processing for Quebec applicant will be a little bit longer because of QSC. Based on other forum, I've read that it takes 3-4 weeks for this certificate to be issued if sponsor is approved. Let's hope for the best ;D

hi sis,
did u recieve already mail from CEM after you recieve your CSQ?
Do you have the orginal copy of your CSQ, because mine they sent my SCQ

I don't think Quebec adds time, except CIC is likely to request your CSQ from you, even though MICC says it sends the CSQ to CIC. You can try to avoid this by assuming that either MICC isn't mailing the CSQ or CIC isn't bothering to match the CSQs with applicants' files, and just emailing the CSQ to CIC (along with your file number), in hopes that CIC will take your emailed CSQ and put it in your file. But otherwise, CIC isn't waiting for the CSQ before processing your file, so it shouldn't add time.

PPR request today :P I think I was the last one from this September group (Ottawa VO)

Congrats! Welcome to the team of waiting for COPR... It's so slow...

Congrats, lunas!

It feels like it is taking for ever to get the COPR! Patience is not my best virtue though :) Status was changed on Tuesday, I live in NYC and mail typically takes 8 - 10 days, so hoping next week sometime for me.
